we've been here dozens of times but this was the first time this year. Major sticker shock with three adults and one childs meal plus one pop costing over $200. Wouldn't have been so bad but a really small prime rib and three shrimp was a shocker. It used to be worth an hour drive but running down hill with the pond empty and no birds. Probably our last trip

The food and service are always great but even with reservations we were seated way in the back far from the food which is hard when handicapped

Last time we ate here was for Our Anniversary....Its very quaint and a nice dining room. But the service is very Out of Date and the Menu is Out of Date,.....The days of dining like in the 60s are over....It needs some remodeling and the food is rather pricey....I get coupons for my Birthday...and they are 20% off the second dinner.....Well to drive 50 miles round trip to save maybe 4.00...is ridiculous.....and if they offered the Birthday person a 50% off meal then it would make sense , But 20% in todays world is Nothing. Sorry we wont come back

when we arrived, there was no one to greet us or seat us, when we did get seated, I was using a mobility walker and we were seated in a very awkward place. Our waitress spoke so low, we could hardly hear us, her service to us was third rate, as she took her time getting our drinks to us and serving our food. My fish was so dry I could hardly eat it, my husband's mashed potatoes were stale and crusted to the bowl, he literally picked it up in one molded piece. His steak was so full of gristle he couldn't chew it, so it remained uneaten on his plate. My son is allergic to onions, but there were grilled onions on his plate with the juices running under his steak. The waitress took it back, and the chef just removed the onions and washed the plate and his steak, and reheated the steak. Our "loaded" baked potatoes were served with butter and sour cream on the side, and none of them were completly done. This dinner was $172,00 . Frankley, we have recieved better food and service at Dennies or Ponderosa.

If I could leave a zero review I would. After a long drive, we arrived to a very out dated restaurant. After being seated, we were given a menu that did not support the menu shown online that stated an extensive seafood menu. The only seafood offered was a white fish and some sort of perch.
After settling for the prime rib, it was less than what was expected for the price. Very over priced and extremely disappointed for what was promised on the website.

Went for Mothers Day and found a good buffet. Food was good but it was obvious they were stretched on help as it took a long time before we were waited on. Not their fault as all restaurants are having problems finding people that actually want to work. Now that covid is slowed down we'll be back more

Been coming here for 30+ years. Friendly owners, a great staff, real concern for customer satisfaction. Due to COVID, the salad bar was closed and a limited menu. All four meals were wonderful; the building was very clean and
I can’t say enough good about our meals and service.

We had a 2pm on Mother's Day for the buffet. Finally got seated 1 hour later. Parties with later reservations got seated first as we were told they had bigger parties. We were never asked if we wanted drinks and got dinner rolls after we were finished. Price was $27.95 and did not include any dessert. Food was overcooked, lukewarm, and was not kept replenished. 3 parties with 2pm reservations walked out.
Avoid this place!

What a gem. Friendly, down home...has that vintage vibe that we love. We will be back again and again and again. Thank you for a lovely time.

This place is terrible. I would never return or recommend to anyone.
Salad bar horrible
Salmon special was pink on the inside uncooked.
Creme brulee 10.00.
The only thing out of my 30.00 meal that was desirable was my baked potato. The special board in the entrance of the building didnt have any prices nor did the desert menu. Never seen anything like this place. Absolutely repulsive. Waayyy over priced. Oh and one more thing tables waayyy tooo close to one another.
5 thumbs down.

The garden is beautiful and so are the hummingbirds. The service left a lot to be desired. At one point we waited quite awhile for drinks and ended up tracking down a busser because the waitress was nowhere to be found. The perch dinner was alright but three small pieces of fish for the price was a bit absurd. I honestly think this place has gone downhill. Some serious changes need to happen before I would consider going back.

High prices, small salad bar with iceberg lettuce. There were 2 other tables when we arrived at 5:45. No one else came in. I ordered the Amaretto Chicken. It was rubbery and served over bland, gummy, white rice. The waitress showed no concern that I ate less than half of the entree. Extremely pricey. Save yourself the trip and the money.

Two couples of us came to Ron's Sherlockian show. It was a very pleasant evening. Food and service were both excellent. Ron's shows are always fun, entertaining, and fascinating. We'll be back for sure (we already have reservations for the Supper Club series January-March of 2019), and our friends are enthusiastic too.

The title says it all. When I pointed it out to the (extremely rude) server she whisked it away to "the owner". No further word but the large group, uncalled for, 20% tip was acceptable. Won't be back. Don't bother.
