The night we went they had 2 or 3 people call in so they were short staffed. We were very understanding and let the night flow. Once they got their flow, all was good.

Shout out to great service accommodating our party of 18. The food was great with a beautiful view. Martini’s were delicious. Thursdays are Martini Madness. Worth the visit.
We are in vacation and booked for 13 people. Out of 13 , 10 people we didn’t even touched the food. All was an disaster. Way too expensive for what we got. Never coming back and really I wouldn’t have spent time to make this...review but I felt that I had to do it so Other people know and not waste mood, time and money there. They have such a great location and it such a shame to make people feel disappointed.More
Food was good, service was good, draft beer was ridiculous (10 Oz draft -$7). Restaurant is Pricey - won't return.
Very slow service but not servers fault. When we got food scallops were not done, vegetables were not warm . Took a long time for person to get hamburger as second choice. May go back because of setting but only for sandwich.
My wife and I were in town staying at a KOA. We had never been to the Waterfront Restaurant, so decided to give it a try. The reviews were mixed and one said it wasn't much of a view and was misleading. We got there...around 5 or 5:30 and there was only one couple seated outside anyway. We were pleasantly surprised when we were led to s small gazebo off to the side. Very nice! The issue we had was a large banner hanging from the water side of the gazebo. It was high enough so that it didn't block our view entirely, but they really need to find another place to put that thing. It definitely affects the ambiance! How about on the side of the restaurant building? There is plenty of room above the lower floor doors/windows. Anyway, Lisa was our waitress. She was a sweetheart and took great care of my wife and I. We got the impression she had not been waiting tables long, but she did a great job! We ordered margaritas, which Lisa said were on special. They came out overly sweet as they were obviously made with a mix. I complained to Lisa and she brought me a shot of tequila, which I added some to my drink. That did the trick! My wife ordered something else to drink. I had the blackened shrimp pasta which was delicious. My wife had the perch and really like it. We will return next time we are in town. Great job Lisa! We got to give a shout out to the young man who seated us and made sure our water glasses were full. He was very attentive and did a great job, but we didn't get a name.More
Just returned from dinner at Waterfront Restaurant. Ordered lemon pepper whitefish, which I had several weeks ago and was fine. Plate came tonight with very small fish portion, yellow in color and Very salty. Tried to make the best of it, when waitress asked how...it was, I told her the truth. She took it back, but returned the plate, saying management said I ate too much of it . Also they advertise in local paper( fullmoonad.com) a happy hour Wednesday-Friday 4-6. Was told it was Monday-Wednesday????? Waitress did a great job, the setting is enjoyable, but a really poor experience. ( was told they have a newer chef). BEWAREMore
Went here as kind of a high end dinner spot. Great setting as you are right on the lake but be ready for the cool breeze. our food was average and my " dry aged " steak wasn't any better than an average cut. Very...good service and the patio seating is great . Of the 3 of us no one raved about the food and all said it was average.More
My husband and I visited The Waterfront for Sunday brunch after having a great dinner a month earlier. We had a wonderful experience. We sat outside enjoying the lake. It was relaxing and we spent two hours taking in the view and the unlimited brunch...selections. From salads to omelets to main courses to desserts everything was homemade and absolutely delicious! Family owned, the staff was warm and friendly and very attentive. We look forward to returning again to this lovely place.More
This restaurant was probably really nice 10-20 years ago. Menu and decor could definitely use updating. The food was just ok, but I don’t think we’d go back. The view over the water is very pretty!
We had a great meal and service to finish our 4th of July on Paw Paw lake. The food was menu had something for everyone and everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
We went here for Mothers day brunch. The food was fresh, and delicious. They had an omelet station and a waffle station. The service was very good, friendly and fast. My only complaint was that it was a little pricey for our family of 6....Other than that I would definitely recommend!More
Made reservations for 7pm and was assured we would have a table next to the water...our table was back next to the wall with at least 3 rows of tables in front of the water. Very uncomfortable seating with one of the chairs broken. Large...mounds of sand in front making it difficult to see a lot of the water. We were there for their advertised prime rib special...4 of us ordered the large cut...3 rare and 1 medium rare...at 19.95 each.. Only one was large cut the other three were a lot smaller and they were all well done...no pink at all. When we complained we were advised they were all weighed...and were all the same size...you could easily see the differences...and they couldn't do anything about the well done cooking since they were out of any more prime rib and the waitress would not take it off the bill. We saw other prime rib dinners being served but they all looked well done so we weren't interested. The manager ran away and wasn't available.More
My family and I come up to Pure Michigan for our summer family vacation, three years running now. One staple of our trip is Silver Beach and the other is Waterfront Restaurant. There are several reasons that keeps us coming back for more at the...Waterfront. The atmosphere is second to none. You dine 20’ from the sandy beachfront. Fare includes steaks and seafood as well as phenomenal sandwiches with family friendly prices. This trip we were served by Tina, one of the several family members involved with the Waterfront since her family purchased it 75 years ago. To say Tina understands service is an understatement. To say the food was hot and delicious is also an understatement. And to say Tina’s Mom isn’t the most adorably sweet lady in Michigan is also, you guessed it, an understatement. If after combing a Michigan beach in search of a lost and found gem, do yourself a favor and swing through The Waterfront. One of Michigan’s gems, with an address!More
I do not like to write bad reviews but, I will never go back here again!!! Horrible Docks! Horrible Food!! Very salty for overpriced food! It is really a shame because the place has potential!
