We stopped by for dinner. We were seated promptly. Our server was awkward - he tried way to hard to make small talk. We ordered several courses. The service was not leisurely, it was slow. We probably waited 30 for an appetizer - no bread, nothing. All of our food was ok - just ok ok. Under seasoned universally. The... More

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and ate outdoors. The service was friendly and attentive. Relaxed and not rushed so you can mske an evening out of it. Yes they have a small menu and they focus on what they do very well. We shared an appetizer of cauliflower fritters which was very tasty. The main entree of pistachio... More

I ate at this North Italian restaurant with 4 friends. We had the tasting menu which had a good variety of tastes and presentations. All the dishes were well prepared and delicious. We felt quite satisfied but not over stuffed. Service is friendly, helpful and unpretentious. The decoration is also comfortable and unpretentious. The restaurant was pleasant for conversation We... I really like the simplicity of the menu which means they focus on what do they do well. The meat plate was great but rather small. The cheese was good BUT very very small portions. The fish (Chilean Sea bass) was moist, a tad fishy but small portion. The wine was ok but limited for an Italian restaurant. The dolce... More

We shared the small dining room with a large party but our service wasn't compromised. The menu is small and there aren't specials, but they do offer a gnocchi "special" dish every night. The appetizers were great and our dinner was so delicious. I wish they had a green lasagna dish offered...

Been living in Royal Oak for 4 years and Due Venti is only about a 5 minute WALK from my house, however this evening was my first time there! It's a very popular and up market Italian restaurant with a small but interesting menu. I had a red pepper and cauliflower soup to start which was very tasty, followed by... More

My wife and I visit Due Venti every couple of months for a nice date night. The food is always great as is the service. This is authentic northern Italian food so you're not gong to find run of the mill spaghetti and meatballs here. The appetizers are great and they always have seasonal mains. Highly recommend this great spot.

We went for a quick dinner before a concert in Royal Oak. I haven't been to this place in three years because I didn't have a special someone to bring during that time...well, the food was fresh and imaginative although a bit bland, I suppose that is the style of Northern Italian Cuisine. We shared the Calamari -very good Soup... More

Had dinner with friends for New Years Eve, 2015, and as another reviewer said asked "why don't we eat here more often." We where very warmly greeted, and promptly seated. Our waiter was very friendly, knew each item on the menu, and happy to assist us in our final choices. For starters we shared, the squid, seasonal meat and cheese... More

The waitstaff was wonderful. The appetizers were extremely small portions for $15. The menu is very limited with no substitutions. You either love this type of northern Italian food or you don't. Wine menu looked quite extensive. 2 appetizers, 3 meals, 4 drinks and 3 dessert drinks were $250. Very very over priced!
