O my gosh, this is donut heaven is there ever was one. The service was a gigantic smile, and then a bakers dozen to fill for the kids and myself and my boss and some other people, the fillings were fantastic and, this was not some run of the mill frozen donut place. This would be successful anywhere in the... More

Our favorite place for donuts, cookies, birthday cakes and pumpkin bread. It's usually very busy, but they seem to move people through quickly. Great stop if you are passing through the area.

Big doughnuts, giant cookies and brownies, fritters, no-bakes, fruit turn-overs and fresh-baked bread, with a line at the counter, even at midnight when we were there. Fun cops-n-criminals kitschy decor and souvenirs. Although the bakery is open 24 hrs, the Traffic Stop Diner inside the bakery is not. This is not fine French pastry, but big sloppy doughnuts amply filled... More

My husband's hometown is Clare, Michigan, where Cops & Doughnuts Bakery originated. Whenever we visit family, we never miss picking up our favorite baked goods. The doughnuts are delicious and reasonably priced. We went on a Saturday morning and waited in line 20-25 minutes, but worth the wait. Don't forget to pick up a shirt on your way out.

Only place I know that makes bialys. It's pricey, but worth it as part of a nice trip to a cute town near the middle of mitten. Expect a line, but it moves quickly. Cafe portion is often full, too.

We never pass through Clare without a visit to this bakery. Has a history you must read about. Cases of delicious donuts, they do a whopping business so product is always fresh (unless you choose from the day old rack) They offer a hugh assortment of donuts plain to filled. Also cookies, brownies and a nice assortment of homemade bread,... More

This place was amazing. Donuts were delicious and the decor was really cool. The kids loved the mug shot and jail photo booth. Try the peanut butter filled donuts. Cool souveneirs. A must see!

Fresh donuts, great selection of pastries, goodies, and baked goods. Had a "short" line but the ladies behind the counter worked fast, so the wait wasn't long. Fun stop on a long drive north.

Thank Christine S
