The line was out the door and wrapped around inside on Sunday morning...baked treats looked incredible...unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to eat since we were on a time schedule, but everything that was on customers tables looked awesome! The gift shop was hysterical and love the idea that 9 officers started this and frequent the shop often!

Their doughnuts are good but we would not say they are to die for. Doughnuts are doughnuts. They do however have great service and a reasonable price (we've found cheaper).

Went to get apple fritters and walked out with a box! They were all really good. The line was long but moved quickly. The girl that helped us couldn't have been more friendly. Note: there are two sets of bathrooms. One at the back of the room with the merchandise and one in the room with the small restaurant.

Went to grab some apple fritters and left with almost one of everything...Amazing how big each donut is and the pies looked amazing. If I wasn't heading to catch a plane I would of bought more. What we couldn't finish we shared at the airport....EVERYBODY loved us.

Family live nearby and my brother is a city police officer in our hometown so cops & doughnuts have long been a joke in our family. He's eaten in the restaurant side before but yesterday we only wanted to buy doughnuts for today's breakfast. The doughnuts are big and all looked so yummy. The cinnamon rolls look like they could... Our son and his family recently moved to Clare, the town where his wife grew up. We visited over the Fourth of July weekend. C&D is worth the hype. Fabulous selection of bakery products with the best doughnuts around. The people are super friendly. We met Ryno Rynearson and Jeremy McGraw, two of the founding owners (McGraw was on duty... More

Traveling back to Indiana from Mackinac and saw billboard for Cops. I had seen it on Today show (I think) and thought we should stop there. ONG there were probably at least 50 people in line. Service was fast and donuts were ok. Price was good.

Thank Rick D

There is a doughnut shop and bakery in Clare, Michigan that has been in constant operation since 1896. This foundation business was within weeks of closing when the members of the Clare Police Department came to the rescue. All of them. That's right, all nine members of the local police department banded together to save this historic business.Dubbed "Cops and Doughnuts," the business boasts handmade confections of all types. Join us for a warm fresh doughnut and a steaming cup of Cops Coffee while you enjoy the police decor and friendly, and very safe, atmosphere. Come and see the new store in Clare that everyone is talking about.Since opening as Cops & Doughnuts our business has expanded in to other adjoining store fronts allowing us to ad the "Cop Shop" our apparel and souvenir shop. And the "Traffic Stop Diner" featuring many American Diner favorites.
