Try a date cookie or the famous Squealer. Huge selection of doughnuts. Lots of funny cop apparel next door.

The doughnuts here are amazing! They even have a doughnut that is covered in bacon! Located right in downtown Clare, we really enjoy stopping here.

This was our last "chance" for this place. We take visitors there as a touristy place. Out of 5 visits , 4 have been stale donuts. The food on the restaurant side is good, but the doughnuts have just not been fresh. It's a great idea, they just need to keep things fresh. We will not be going back.

Words cannot describe the delicious-ness of these doughnuts! They're huge and taste amazing! Lots of options to choose from - we've ordered Paczki online and they arrived fresh and tasty! It's a must stop in Clare. Right off the highway if you're traveling North or South for a quick stop! The girls at the front counter were pleasant and patient.

One of those places to be careful with. One is never enough and before you know what's happening you're waking up from your doughnut induced diabetic coma, licking the icing from your lips, ravenous for more.

And it was really good back then, too. This is a unique place, and pretty famous. A small doughnut shop that started as a place to help revitalize a small town that had lost all its manufacturing jobs. The police officers banded together and started to make this work. They are so successful they bought out the Clare Bakery that... More

There is a doughnut shop and bakery in Clare, Michigan that has been in constant operation since 1896. This foundation business was within weeks of closing when the members of the Clare Police Department came to the rescue. All of them. That's right, all nine members of the local police department banded together to save this historic business.Dubbed "Cops and Doughnuts," the business boasts handmade confections of all types. Join us for a warm fresh doughnut and a steaming cup of Cops Coffee while you enjoy the police decor and friendly, and very safe, atmosphere. Come and see the new store in Clare that everyone is talking about.Since opening as Cops & Doughnuts our business has expanded in to other adjoining store fronts allowing us to ad the "Cop Shop" our apparel and souvenir shop. And the "Traffic Stop Diner" featuring many American Diner favorites.
