We were glad to find outdoor seating. The view on the river was gorgeous however they need to add umbrellas to their tables. The entree salads we ordered were very good. The service was very slow as we had to wait for approximately 40 minutes for food. At least the view and the quality of the food made the wait worthwhile.

Since my hubby is a homebrewer, we had to check this place out. The beer did not disappoint, and neither did his burger or my grilled chicken sandwich. We ate outside where we had a fantastic view of Round Lake and the harbor. Service was a bit slow, although it wasn't our server's fault. He was attentive and friendly even though he was taking orders, serving food, bussing tables & greeting arriving customers.

Rich’s Ragin Grilled Cheese was a big hit. The Italian Grinder got two thumbs up. The Smoked Brisket sandwich had very little meat and was mostly crunchy bread. Great views if you had a table next to the windows. Staff was short handed but the waiters were bustin butt to keep everyone happy. Food took forever but they get a pass in the COVID world.

I only have one thing good to say, the bruschetta was great. The service, the wait time, the food all bad. First they couldn't seat our whole part of 7 together. There were tables outside (which we asked for) that they sat a couple at instead. And pushed together 2 tables inside instead for us. After waiting just to be sat 30 mins, we ordered drinks after 15 mins. Then waited for those and just to order an app and food. An hour and twenty minutes later the food came out. The salmon we were "waiting for our table of food" came out raw. The Brisket sandwich was basically sliced roast beef, the Mac and cheese was soooo salty. The servers attitude on top of everything else just made it ridiculous. Then the bill came and the rest of our party that didn't get sat with us, has already eaten paid and left. And our bill came out with theirs on it as well. 200$ later and over 2 hours later. We weren't very happy which is unfortunate because a couple of us work the service industry and are usually very understanding. We really were excited to try it after hearing good things about it.

Being the end of the season and with students gone back to college, we were prepared for slow service everywhere but that was not the case here, due primarily to our server who was single-handedly handling the outside dining patio. She bussed the table, cleaned the table, seated us, took our drink and food orders, brought food and drink to the table, brought the bill, and processed the payment. Whew! Unfortunately the food didn't live up to the service as my salmon was overcooked and dry and my wife's selection wasn't any better. Maybe they do better with the normal beer and pub food offerings, but it wasn't worth what we paid for our dinners.

This may be the best eatery on Bridge Street in Charlevoix. Great views of the marina and/or the Beaver Island Ferry Boat when it is in dock. This quaint, unpretentious pub has a warm and cozy ambiance. The menu is very pub-like and I felt very at home eating and sipping wine here. The service was good albeit it appears they, like most places now, are understaffed and struggling to keep up. They have a teriffic selection of salads to choose from as well as a broad array of burgers, dogs and brats and some other good looking comfort foods. I had one of the salads and I cannot recall a better one - filled with bacon pieces and a remarkably good blue cheese dressing - very yummy. The prices are good and if you value a comfortble waterfront vibe, then you must come and try this place.

We arrived with a group of 6 to the check in desk which is outside the restaurant. The hostess showed very little interest in our party, said the wait was about 45 minutes and there is NO wait list, no option to leave our name on a list, etc. We asked how we would know our table is ready and she said we needed to wait right by the hostess stand and if not, if another party arrived, they would be seated ahead of us. She was very rude and unapologetic about the inability to track our party. We waited about an hour before our table was ready. The food was awful- too much sauce on the sandwich and an undercooked pizza. Your options are limited in Charlevoix but avoid this place.

I normally don’t rate restaurants, but felt I should let other diners know of my poor experience at this establishment. It was hands down the worst food I’ve ever had in a restaurant in the US or abroad. Unfortunately, I paid $72 for well done hamburgers ( requested medium) and overcooked salmon. I let the waitress know the accompanying string beans were spoiled. They actually tasted sour. She said she didn’t know how that was possible as they were frozen. She was laughing about it as she stood by the kitchen. I would suggest you find another place to enjoy the view where they care about their customers.

The food was great, but the selection of obnoxious rap music totally ruined the atmosphere. A couple next to us commented they even like some rap music, but what they were playing was awful. It was obvious the music selection definitely was not geared to their patrons, who were mostly retired seniors. I asked our server, Grant, "Who selects the music?" He said, "It depends on the day." I wondered if he had selected it. Like I said, very good food, a beautiful patio with a view of Lake Charlevoix, but I won't be returning any time soon.

Food was delicious, service was excellent, however, the music choice was very sub par. I believe that a business should play neutral music at a lower volume to keep customers happy and satisfied. Perhaps some soft rock or maybe light indie to keep the mood happy? Less pop and less sad music should do the trick.

Dined on a Thursday evening with our adult family. Was told a 45 minute wait but only 20 minutes. Food was good and of average size. Service was slow but friendly. The place seemed understaffed. Indoor and outdoor dining but limited seating. Beautiful view of water if seated in rear. Plenty of free on street parking. Lots of great shops and beautiful scenery in area. Stay for the day. Dishes we liked were the turkey club, grilled Mac n cheese, and Italian grinder. Chicken parm grinder was spicy. A nice little place to dine but could wait a while to get a table.

Lunched with our adult grand kids on a cool "up north" day. I had the turkey club wrap and substituted their mayonnaise sauce with their homemade spicy aioli. It was Excellent! Great photos of Charlevoix's historic past. Many photos from the late 1800's and early 1900's. Charlevoix was quite the busy shipping and trade center of NW Michigan.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience. The wait staff did not seem to care that my food was cold or any refills on drinks. They seemed more concerned talking with people they appeared to know. The food was cold and the service was not good

One of the few restaurants in Charlevoix open late for dinner. Was able to accommodate our large party at a variety of tables / at the bar. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, great view of the water. You can also get takeout and eat in the next door park, and they sell beer to go in the storefront next to the restaurant. They had a variety of food, so many options for a large group.

If you're in charlevoix for a while, you should definitely try the bridge street tap room if you're looking for a great atmosphere for casual food and drinks while watching a game or have been enjoying the beautiful downtown. We got the bridge street wings and then ordered a large pizza and split amongst ourselves while having some beers. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere is great and I will be coming here again when I come back to charlevoix
