Our hotel breakfast looked like it was made up by Gary Busey so we decided to venture out and find something to eat on our way to Harbor Springs. We passed a billboard for this place on M-72 east and did some research on it...during the drive. I cannot express how amazing this little gem is in a beautiful setting like Charlevoix. They were busy but the staff was working hard to get all of us seated and get orders done. The drunken French Toast was delicious as was the Smoked Pulled Pork hash. If you're passing through the area, stop here and have breakfast/lunch. Its worth it!More

This place was recommended to us by a local. It's small, but has more ourdoor seating for nice days. Our breakfast was delicious, and we highly recommend it!

We stopped by for lunch while sightseeing and were so glad we did. We sat outside on the front walk on a nice afternoon. Their smoked meats are fantastic! My husband got the smoked brisket dip that consisted of lots of their deliciously smoked beef,...caramelized onions, & Swiss cheese on a chewy sub roll with homemade Au jus sauce and house made potato chips. I got the grilled Brie sandwich on housemade challah bread stuffed with green apple, provolone, roasted tomato, onion Mayo and bacon with a side of hand cut fries. Oh my goodness! It was heavenly! Most all of their dishes are made from scratch with local ingredients, including fresh baked bread and biscuits. We hope to stop in for breakfast some day. It looks amazing!More

Can't say enough about how Great the food and service is here, we will be going back for sure and recommending to everyone. We sat indoors one morning and outside the next day. Ambiance is very relaxing even on the street Quite little community

Great food! Great service! I had a three egg pulled pork omelette with bbq sauce and coleslaw! I ate every bite. Our waitress recommended this as it’s her favorite and did not disappoint. The raspberry jam was so delicious for my toast we ordered a...half pint to go!More

Teriffic place with a teriffic menu. Only about a block from the bridge, it doesn't get much more downtown than this location. It's very small and they specialize in BBQ, but their breakfast is what pulled me in. "Drunken" french toast made with home baked...challa bread should cause you to pause and reflect on that item on the menu, but honestly there were six or seven things that made it very difficult to choose what to eat. It is cozy and homey and the service staff was very gracious and attentive. The folks who run this place obviously care about their food and their service - always a nice plus when you look for a place to dine. I give this place a ten out of ten.More

We drove an hour out of our way to give this restaurant a try. Arrived to find out no lunch on Sundays.... bummer but okay..... so breakfast.... tried the brisket with eggs and hash browns. Dont waste your time. The brisket is cute into weird...cubes and is lacking in flavor. The scrambled eggs were uninspired. Luckily the meal was saved because we wanted to try an unusual item - the wild rice porridge. it was a delightful mixture of wild rice, nuts, dried fruits cream and maple syrup! For this dish alone the restaurant maintains is three stars. Fantastic. Unfortunately a smoke house should have excellent, smokey meats so we can't go any higher.More

The restaurant is small but the food is fantastic. All the food is homemade, even the bread they use for toast. Good menu selection with just enough options to choose from. We were in Charlevoix for 6 days and ate breakfast there 4 of those...days. Everything is so fresh and tasty. I had the All American, eggs, hash browns with choice of meat. Also had biscuits and gravy which are the best I have ever had. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this facility. They also serve lunch but we did not eat lunch there. Prices are also very reasonable.More

I had to write this while at the table, awaiting my check and and acknowledgement from an employee. It took 30 mins to be seated, 20 mins for the server to take our order. Then our food came, but was given to the table next...to us. French toast... But no butter or syrup. I had to go ask for this. Then our drinks never came, which was hot tea and juice, so I went up and just asked for water. But they poured it and handed me the glasses! Nobody ever asked us how the meal was. New we've been waiting for the check.... It's a shame because the breakfast was really good. We'll not return here of course, nor can we recommend to our followers.More

OMG - check this place out for breakfast. Not the fastest service, but it is well worth the wait. I had the biscuit and gravy which is totally out of this world. It is heaven in a plate. My wife got the breakfast sandwich which...was very good too. They have some real interesting items on their menu - definitely check this place out for breakfast. You won't regret it!!More
