The weathervane has been a landmark in Charlevoix for many years. The building is a bit of history. It’s one of Earl Young’s creations. The stone work and setting in the channel are worth a visit. The food is boring. Very unimaginative and mediocre. It...More

After a late lunch we stopped in for a late dinner and decided on a wedge salad for him, soup for me and split half order of ribs. It was the perfect amount as we were in a hotel and had no room for leftovers....More

Stafford's had some great outside, waterfront seating. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and some appetizers while watching boats go by to-and-from Lake Michigan. Our whitefish and artichoke dip was very good, and fit the atmosphere. Our server Phil was extremely friendly, and great with...More

The Must-see restaurant in Charlevoix. Classic dining on the river leading boats out to Lake Michigan.

Enjoyed our dinner. The oak planked white fish was wonderful. Great service and the hostess was a wealth of historical information. Would eat there next time we are in town.

If you want a great view of the channel this is your restaurant. They have inside and outside seating. The outside seating is our choice. I love watching the boats go through. And an extra bonus.....the food is good too.

No dress code is required. Because they are in a 'tourist' town, particularly in the Spring, Summer and Fall....you are welcome at Stafford's Weathervane in casual attire.
