Could be more pleasant

The woman who waited on us was not friendly. We had never been there before and obviously had questions, she directly us to the menu hanging on the wall which was only the names on things, not specifics. In the end, the wine flight I got was very good and my husband got a mixture of beer and cider which were also tasty

Mixed feelings

A new brewery to the area. The bar is inside a converted house. It has the bar and a couple of tables. The rest of the tables are outside. They serve Beer, Wine, and Cider. I ordered the Everything Nice, a hard cider with Cinnamon and brown sugar. A 10 oz pour was $5 plus tax. It was delicious. One of the best hard ciders I've had. My Aunt order a Cherry Cider. She liked it, but not the service. When I ordered I ordered from a guy that was pleasant and efficient. My Aunt tried ordering from two ladies that were ignoring everything and talking and had an attitude when she did get their attention. Overall a hard review to rate. I guess I'll go with a 4 star review. However would I return? No, my Aunt stated she doesn't want to go there again and I have to agree, service is important.

Tasty beer, wonderful location and unique structure

My wife and I and another couple stopped here on a Monday afternoon for a beer and absolutely loved this place. The setting was beautiful and the brewery itself looks like it used to be a house. There were firepits and lots of open space outside with a great view. The tap list was 18 options long and covered a wide variety of styles. They even have wine and everything we tried was very good. There is a pizza option on site which didn't happen to be open the day we were there but is a convenient food option on site. According to signage they often also have live music. If I lived anywhere near this brewery I'd go there all the time.

Perfect find

Awesome environment. The Walk About brown ale and Berried Alive cider were excellent. The view is amazing of Lake Michigan in the distance. There are two fire pits, picnic tables spread around the lawn and live music during certain times. They also sell great pizza and salads right next door. It is a terrific set-up and worth your visit when you are in the area. If we lived closer, this would be our go to brewery.

Welcome to the 8 year olds club!

This is to the folks that run Pizza Girl. I appreciate and understand over an hour wait for food during busy times( it was 90 minutes). The snyd remark from one of your staff when I was standing there waiting with your pager bleeping “you can turn it off..welcome to the 8 year olds club”.. yeah, not so much. Won’t be returning!

Great fun place!

What a charming little winery/brewery. Our group of gals went there for the wine tasting part of it. We all got flight of different flavors. Our favorites were the Grand Finale and the Berry Break. The Bartender, Chelsea, was a blast and was super helpful and friendly. This is a definite go to place, and we will be going back when we come back to the area!

Great visit

This was our second visit, however, we must not have reviewed it before, but it was many years ago. We each had a flight, beer and wine, which was excellent. They have a nice selection of beer and wine, but also ciders. The website is informative, but there were more options listed inside. They have indoor and outdoor seating and board games.

Live music, beer, wine and cornhole! What a great night! The service was outstanding on a busy summer evening. Grab your chair and enjoy the sunset over Lake Michigan while enjoying a beverage.

Good selection of Beers & Ciders

They currently have 18 rotating beers on tap & different Ciders. My husband got the 16 oz Lakeview Beer & I got a Berried Alive Cider - great mix of apple, strawberry, blueberry & cherries. We took our drinks outside where they have picnic tables & a Corn Hole game. They have small, glass structures where u can sit & enjoy the views of Lake Michigan in the distance even during inclement weather. Currently they have live music on Fridays & serve Pizza Girl pizza certain days so best to call & see if pizza is being served. They also have an art gallery. They are open year round & definitely worth stopping in for a drink. We will be back!

Perfect cider

I so wish I lived closer to this place, it's pretty much perfect! Okay, so the staff is crazy kind and super helpful. They have such a huge selection of beers, ciders, and wines. I tried a flight of the wines and they were pretty good - the dry red wasn't for me but the fruit wines were all pretty solid. The ciders though... that's where they really shine. Wow. I got a flight of ciders and they were all good... their traditional was pretty solid and the cherry was very good. The berry mix cider was excellent, and the spiced cider (everything nice) was absolutely perfect. Definitely took a growler of that to go - totally in love with it. Nice outdoor dog-friendly seating area with games, which was perfect. Also an on-site pizza business that smelled pretty delicious, even if I wasn't able to try it this last visit. A total gem, this spot is a must-do if you are anywhere nearby. Definitely my favorite spot in this whole region. Will be back!

Great brewery

Crabby and I stopped here for a beer. They have a great selection of craft beer. The Coconut Porter was fantastic. They have popcorn, chips. You can order small pizzas here, cooked onsite. This is a wonderful new brewery in an old farmhouse. The fall weather was rainy. So we did not play the outdoor games. We will definitely visit here again.

Impressive gallery and yummy microbrews!

Located on the south side of town, this is a must-stop on your way in - or out - of Charlevoix! The art gallery is located in an well-maintained Victorian, two floors of art from 100+ artists and impressive watercolors, oils, photographs, ceramics as well as sculptures. A working studio is nearby and the "kids" are up the hill on the property making delicious microbrews and serving them up with pizza. Views of the lake are magnificent!

absolutely awesome place

Killer beer, LOVE it! Their standard ipa is good but they had brewed two double ipa's, with one having a pumpkin nod to it. They were so good! I wish those were there all of the time. It's a great place to hang out as well, with inside and outside seating, fire pit, yard games, and live music on occasion.
