We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Blue Pelican last night. The whole experience was very nice and the food was great. We all had seafood and each dish was prepared well and could not have been better. Our waiter was wonderful. He was attentive and double checked on specifics of each meal, to make sure the chef prepared them... More

Live music on Friday night was great. Just had appetizers and drinks. They were very accommodating with our large group and helped us move tables when we overflowed the original one. We will go back!

Had the crab stuffed walleye and it was excellent. Wasabi mashed potatoes on the side. No salad or vegetable included with the $24 price tag. Would have been five star with additional veggie.

Went on a Wednesday evening around 7 and it wasn't crowded at all. Everyone in Central Lake recommended this place so wanted to give it a try. Glad we did! Everything was wonderful. Garlic rolls were so fresh and yummy. Caesar salad was one of the best I've had. We had chicken piccata and parmesan crusted pork loin. Both were... More

We haven't dined at the Pelican Inn in over a year as we have had two real disappointing dinners there. Today we decided to have their Easter Brunch as we both didn't want to drive to Traverse City or Petoskey for a meal. We were pleasantly surprised with the varieties of both breakfast and dinner sections available. We both had... More

we did not stay here - we brought a large group to eat. We ordered lots of appetizers and everyone shared and loved everything. All of our entrees were great as well. We heard it was a haunted hotel so we walked around upstairs and checked it out. It was a fun addition to our trip!

My friend and I had the mussels for an appetizer and they were terrific. Have not had any better. We both ordered the crab stuffed Walleye and I had a side of brussel sprouts which were inedible. We both felt the fish was way over seasoned, dry and too bready. But the most disappointing was the crab stuffing. It was... More

Stayed in Bellaire area and after driving in to town to avoid resort food and only finding either diner or pub style restaurants, a storekeeper mentioned the Blue Pelican. The TA reviews and menu were convincing enough to drive the 10 minutes to Central Lake. The restaurant was quite appealing from the outside and far better than the ones in... More
