Oh my goodness, tremendous value! Quality, quantity, CANNOT go home hungry! Took us too long to hear about this ITALIAN

Live about 15 minutes from Cedar and eat there more than Sparta. Been to Kelly’s several times , Ted bird bistro last week and the German food brewery once. Angela’s in Sparta is ok but now by word of mouth we found our new go to Italian. ( papa piccones in Kent City is out of business and was avg at best) Now to Nonno’s, I ordered chicken Marsala, it comes with salad or soup, potatoes, spaghetti, or fettuccine Alfredo, garlic bread and vegetables! Huge 2 piece chicken breast all for $15!! Wife’s chicken parmigiana same for $16. We now have our new “local” Italian restaurant. Wife totally impressed as I was. I’m a big guy and eater and we had to take home a box, most other patrons also. This was by far the best price valued meal we have had in years now that inflation is high. I hope the best for this ma and Pa Sicilian couple and keep their prices where they are , we’ll be back!! Very nice waitresses and attached to Tractor Supply off the road behind Burger King.

Most Excellent! mmmmuuaahh!

EVERYTHING our table ordered was excellent! Our server, J, was so patient and entertaining with us as we asked the 21 questions about menu selections! She had the answers to everything! We had the Portobello's, Chicken Parmesan, Tortellini, and finished with Tiramisu. Every bit of every bite was above par. We will not hesitate to return to possibly 'eat through the menu'. They say they are 'homestyle Italian'... I don't personally know what that means but it sure seems like the food is something 'grandma would make'...

We tried this restaurant a few weeks ago when it was recommended to us. The food is good, portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is very cheerful and attentive and seem genuinely glad that you are there. The specials are a very good value. The pasta dishes are tasty and the creamy Tuscan soup is delicious. We have eaten there again since our first visit and plan to go again.

Friends of ours wanted to met up at Nonno's restaurant. I thought I would try their half rib meal. It came with a salad and large fries. Our waitress was extremely nice, and very conscientious to see we had everything we needed. The salad was quick to come out and then the ribs followed soon after. At the price of $16.00 for half rib, my expectations were high. The bbq sauce was on the sweet side, which for me was nice. It was when it came to cutting into the ribs that brought my disappointment. I was expecting the meat to fall off the bone easily. It was a task to peel it off the bone. It was all I could do to eat three bones worth. The meat was dry and had gristle on the edge. I had no joy eating it and brought home more than 2/3rds that our friends of the wild would have meat. Everything about the evening was nice. Tasty fries , and the wait staff could not have been more efficient. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes. I'll be back, but the ribs will not be an item I would order again. If you like to enjoy good ribs, this is not the place to satisfy that pleasure.

New to the area: Had great wet burritos on Sunday. So for my husband's birthday went for the Thursday prime rib special. Never had such a tough prime rib ever! Flavor was good, then told sides one thing, then waitress had to apologize and say they were another. Plus price online was 15.99, it was $3 more per plate! The salad was fresh lettuce. Trying to be upbeat...but what a waste of money and this was a splurge for us. Really bum birthday.

The Best Family Italian Restaurant Around!

My husband and I have eaten at Nonno's for a few years now. We have NEVER had a bad experience!! The food is always hot and delicious. The service is always exceptional! We haven't found a family restaurant that even comes close to Nonno's. Awesome food at great prices!! You won't be sorry for choosing to eat there!!

First time here, and a great experience

Two couples stopped after the review on the local ABC station. Food was great and the waitress, Jewells was terrific. She recommended the Alfredo lasagna for the girls and they loved it. Brother-in-law had the Philly cheese steak sub, and myself the Italian sausage with peppers. None of us finished our meals (four doggy boxes). Prices were very reasonable giving today’s inflation. We are already planning our next visit.

Heard good things… but worst experience

We are on vacation visiting family in the area. Read some good reviews so we decided to try it since it was right around the corner from the hotel! We get there the girl seating was very cordial and asked my name. There where already 2 other couples waiting and we where told about 35 minutes . So people come in and ask for tables and get seated right away. We thought maybe they called ahead . Another few of the same thing happened. We are told about 5 more mins. Another couple walk in. And they get the table we where told was ours . Final straw? A family of 4 come in. Asked about the wait. Told oh we can seat u right now. Pretty sure we can sit at the same table. Horrible, horrible ,horrible customer service and probably need some one with sorting skills . Just wow! 45 minutes and we left! Don’t go there . Do not by any means go to this restaurant!

Silly rules

We have eaten here several times over the last couple years and the food is 7/10, my complaint is there seating situation, with like 10-12 tables and 3 booths it can be obviously busy, but when you tell your customers they “can’t sit in a booth because the “section” doesn’t open for 30 min is absolutely absurd, instead they sat us directly across from the booth, 3 foot away lol…. Just dumb and makes ZERO sense, rant over

Pulled up at this place unexpectedly definitely thought it was a small counter where’d you order and wait outside; it offered both but it definitely was a sit down restaurant. Went about creating my own style pizza and no regrets Pizza was spot on, they also offer: lasagnas, burritos etc.

Excellent food fast service

Always has a good variety on buffet for lunch, meals very good and friendly service. Best place to go for a good meal when your limited on time. They treat you like family.

Pizza is some of the best I have eaten. Have also tried chicken parmesan which was quite tasty. Lunch buffet is a great choice as well
