We had lunch at Cedar Tavern after visiting the Polish Art Store (a Unique place to see).
It was $3-Taco Tuesday, I don’t usually eat Mex but I have to admit the tacos were good. The salsa I added was not as spicy hot as I like but still good. I would order them again, I had hard shell but could have had soft too. My wife had the soup and a salad both good. Service was slow but it was noon! Classic small town Tavern but clean and fresh!

Extremely casual but very warm and welcoming bar/restaurant. Fried fish may not have been healty, but it was fabulous!

You can always burn. They also have a nice selection of beer. This place is really solid, dozens of times and never had a bad meal

Often run out of the special in the first hour so get there before 5 for the ribs or fish fry nights. Very, very noisy so not a place to enjoy food and conversation. Language colorful so not a place for children or those offended by swearing. Food ok; nothing special but fairly quick and hot. Not great on those covid 19 regulations.

Neighborhood place; several TV screens. Taco night seems to be very popular. Burgers were well-prepared.

Been to Cedar multiple times and finally stopped in and ate dinner. Staff was very friendly. Food was good. My wife got their tacos and said they were good. The draft beer was cold.

Rob was our server, took great care of us. Ordered pizza & burrito, not bad at all. We’d probably go back if ever in the area. Nice variety to choose from on the menu & beer was cold.

Love the small town taverns! This one was old but very clean, with a real ‘up north’ feel! - an ‘everyone knows your name’ type of place. The food was excellent and our waitress was beyond nice - very social with a good sense of humor. Decently priced as well.

This is a truly local bar experience. The people are great, the food is decent. Not many options for vegetarians or vegans, but good burgers and standard bar fare.

A late afternoon trip to the beach and we were ready to get a bite to eat. Cedar Tavern was on the way back to my sisters. There seemed to be an issue with the cooks in the kitchen but the food was worth the wait.

Who would expect this great of food in a tavern. We had the Rib special and Steak tips. Definately a place you want to return to.

This type of tavers are disappearing. True small town ambience. Not fancy but clean. Great daily specials, the year around. Cheapest draft beer in the county, Five stars for beer in pichers. Wednessday special, fall off the bone, ribs, Slab, $18, Enough for dinner the following day. I hope Cedar Tavern does not get gentrified.

Always enjoy my visits to the Tavern, laid back, unassuming establishment and my wife love's their Pizza's and every year we are in the area we always come for the Thursday pizza special and have never been disappointed!

Meandered over to Cedar on a sunny early evening and decided to try Cedar Tavern. Reminded me of a by-gone era when the local tavern was a meeting place for town and the entire family could enjoy a hearty meal (all be-it "bar food") though I suspect that later in the evening, this place rocked with as the local watering hole. It has a nice honky-tonk feel to it and boy was it busy. Our waitress (Jen) was about a good as they come, running between tables, juggling orders, making sure we were OK with drinks etc., she was nothing short of amazing. We had a few items off the menu, a foot-long hot dog and cheese burger. Neither was remarkable as this place appears to serve what the Food Service truck delivers however, there certainly wasn't anything wrong with anything we had. May visit again as this is a very small, very cute town with an outstanding ice cream stand directly across the street from Cedar Tavern.
