Had dinner here with friends after a Notre Dame football; game. At their recommendation, we made reservations in advance and was promptly seated. Both food and service was excellent and pretty reasonable priced. Would certainly dine here again.

Wheatberry is a great place for lunch or dinner. The wait staff is attentive but not intrusive, the food is delicious. Their smoked porkchop was fantastic. For a larger group, ask to be seated in the room in the back as the main room can get quite loud. Reasonably priced, including the drinks.

This is our second time eating here when driving through Berrien Springs. Delicious food served in a timely manner. We love the horseradish mashed potatoes. Be sure to save room for dessert!

This is one of my family's favorite restaurant! Prices are good and food always amazing.... we have eaten the brisket, ribs, Chipotle chicken, salmon, fish tacos, skillet trout etc etc etc Would recommend any of these things. Never had a bad meal. We have celebrated birthdays, Mother's Day, and just casual dining. Always a great time and never disappointed.

First time visitors to the area and after reading reviews, decided to give this a try. Greeted and seated promptly for a Friday night. Noah was our server and took the time to describe everything to us, including some drink specials. The cornbread brought to the table is like none you have ever had before. Ordered the soup-of-the-day, a New... More

We took some friends here who had recently moved to the area from Florida. They arrived before us and met the owner who was working at the bar. They were old friends by the time we arrived! It was barbecue night and different entrees had been paired with different bbq sauces. Their specialty nights are so much fun and the... More

I've been to Tabor Hill a few times, and after 2 mediocre meals at top prices, I quit. I just tried Wheatberry for the first time and for a fraction of the price, you'll be much happier. The regular menu offers an ample array of choices, plus an unparalleled wine, beer and spirits menu longer than the food menu. This... More

Wheatberry is a great little restaurant / bar along the St Joseph river in Buchanan MI. They are noted for their BBQ and craft beers. The ribs are excellent! Atmosphere is casual and very comfortable. Wait staff is attentive and excellent. I highly recommend this establishment when in the Buchanan area!

Being vegetarian, there wasn't much on the menu for variety. That said, it was a decent salad lunch. Like other reviewers, the cornbread is tasty so don't pass it up. I would say it's worth trying, but it's not memorable. (Note: I was here last summer - 2015 - but the drop down doesn't go that far back)
