I made a reservation For two of us at 5 PM. They are taking reservations for an hour and a half spots, to make sure people are able to get a seat. Grace took our reservation over the phone, she seem pleasant and accommodating.
We were seated in the back room, not in the main dining area.
Jenny is waiting on us tonight, she's warm, friendly and attentive too.
I ordered the chopped salad and the cedar planked salmon, cup of tomato basil soup and a grilled chicken Caesar and decided on trying their lobster Mac and cheese as our starter.
Their specials tonight are ribeye, blackened halibut and salmon encrusted cake topped with arugula and a mud pie dessert.
The basket of bread was our first, since our lobster Mac and cheese would take a bit longer.
The Mac and cheese looks very much like the TT from royal Oak, same noodles, Ritz topping too and similar plating too. Found out it’s the same owner as the closed down TT in Royal Oak. Nice to get the lobster Mac elsewhere now.
I feel the spirit of TT. Their chopped salad is the same as TT's version, nice. The chopped salad is good too.
Their homemade biscuit is moist, buttery, soft and billowy inside and crunchy on the outside too, it's so yummy. I could eat and entire meal of bread here for sure. That's how every biscuit should be.
It's too bad they don't have truffle fries, that would make my meal for sure.
The tomato basil is good, it's creamy and smooth, not super flavorful overall.
The heat has been turned on since there's two parties in the room now.
Same glasses, same salad contents as the chopped tavern salad that I have missed.
The cedar planked salmon was perfectly cooked, but the Dijon mustard glaze wasn't my thing at all. My husband liked it though. It would have been better blackened to me, next time.
The food, service and experience was quite good.
Jenny let us know our entrees were on their way soon after we finished the starters and my chopped salad.

Because of the pandemic, we haven't been able to eat out for a while. But now we can. What a great choice for our first night out. One special was saute shrimp and linguine. Spicy and rich. It was the best thing I've eaten in a long time; a reminder of why it is so important that the restaurant industry thrives. I'm a good cook. But this was something special, a chef's gift. My wife had the Kobe meatloaf. It is a menu item that just makes this place so more. The service was extraordinary, personal and happy. I want to go back again and again.

Great place to meet your friends, have drinks and always a fabulous meal. It would be nice if the restaurant took reservations. We would frequent more often.

This has been where we can count on an excellent meal, until tonight. The pasta specials have always been great in the past. Tonight's lobster mac & cheese was bland. No detectable seasoning. The ratio of cheese to mac was anemic. Milk, flour, butter...forgot the cheese it seems. Also almost forgot the lobster. Nice panko crunch. Good cook on the macaroni. But someone forgot to taste it.
One of us always orders the panko chicken entre. It had been our favorite. This time the breading was really soggy. No crunch. It hasn't been like that before. The dish still has a great taste, but disappointing texture.
Sadly, something has changed. In the future, choosing Roadhouse B&G won't be the no brainer that it's always been unfortunately. Sigh.

One thing about this place is when all the regulars show up to the bar you are completely ignored. No one asks if u want another drink if you want food or anything. I have a been here a few times. They do have great drinks.

Like all Bill Robert’s restaurants, this place has reliably good food. Half the time I go for dinner but the other is for breakfast/brunch. Creative egg dishes and great pancakes!

Had a scrumptious breakfast at Roadside. The food was top notch and the customer service was extra special. My spicy Bloody Mary was made perfect by Sheila. My biscuits and gravy were flaky and tender...Chelsea, the manager
recommended the dish! I will definitely return!

This eatery has good food. But it's overpriced. I met a friend for lunch there and, apparently, pricing is more for the ambience than the food. The food is fine, but it's nothing more than grub dressed up with higher prices. The wait is a little long, even for weekday lunches, and parking is a bit touch and go. The location's not the best, but the waitstaff makes up for it.

This appealing spot is very good at what it aspires to do. Ambiance is relaxed, atmosphere pleasant. Food is very good with a limited menu well executed. Offerings are a bit rich for seniors, but younger families were happy without digestive worries.
We found it a bit pricey for frequent visits but would return on occasion.
In good weather outdoor dining is available. We found the place noisy and not conducive to conversation.

Went there with 4 friends and we all agreed it was a good choice for dinner. The salmon came as a fairly big piece and was very good. One of my friends had the white fish and enjoyed it. The meatloaf was excellent also. So everyone had a great meal.

Good food selection in an up-scale bar setting. Lobster Mac and Cheese is a favorite. Staff is attentive and competent. Noise level is high; not condusive to quiet conversation.

Had lunch here today. Efficient and friendly staff! Great grilled brussel sprouts appetizer. And the Mahi Mahi tacos were tasty too! And their prices were reasonable.
I will return here again!

We dine here frequently. They do not take reservations but we find the bar a great alternative and you have the same wonderful food and great cocktails. Yum!
