Went for drinks late afternoon to scout it out before coming in for supper. Had heard food was excellent but we were cautious about the looks of the place. I loved the atmosphere but the women in the group were not impressed with the cleanliness with old tattered food stained paper menus and serving staff wearing too much food on... More

We stopped by on the way home. So glad we did. Don't let the looks deceive you! The food was awesome! We had the fish and chips. The breading on the fish was light and flaky. The fries were hand cut and nicely seasoned. My husband loved the tartar sauce! We will be coming back!

Totally surprised when we went inside, not what we expected from the outside appearance. Food was excellent, homemade and ample of it.

Went for dinner after reading reviews on trip advisor. Menu was extensive but decided on fish and chips and a swiss mushroom burger with fries. Both were good. Reminded me of what my father called " a hole in the wall" restaurant, not much to look at but good, honest food.

Nice, friendly little restaurant . I've been there when we were the only customers & I've been there when I had to wait; doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason. I usually get the fish which is good, but my favorite part of the meal is the coleslaw, It comes in about a cup size portion (not those tiny... More

We showed up with a group of 12 folks ready to have some drinks. It was obvious from the two staff that they would prefer for us to leave. Limited selection (I can look past that) but the negative attitude wasn't appreciated.

Fairly unique menu choices. Everything made from scratch. Parking lot was fairly empty but place was 1/2 full when I left

Nice little joint near the motels at I-75 in Birch Run. Honest food, Honest wait staff. If you have a drink before dinner, it is an HONEST drink, too. Reasonable value.

Myself, wife, daughter (11 Years old) and wife's parents visited this unique roadhouse upon a recommendation from the staff at the Hampton Inn acroos the street and we were not dissappointed. Don't expect anything fancy, but the menu selection is quite extensive including many local game or fish options. The inside of the restaurant is what I expect to see... More

We were traveling through the area and needed to find a place for dinner one night. After reading some other reviews we decided to try this place. As others have said the place doesn't look like much from the outside and there were few cars in the lot. However, the inside is very nice and everyone was very friendly. The... More
