I have been there twice now and everything we ordered was excellent. They have a unique menu with a wide variety. All of the food had an was very flavorful, but the first time we waited over 45 min. for our bill and the seconds...time the waitress said she would bring us a plate and never did, miss calculated our bill, and never offered a coffee refill.More

Decided to try this place based on the number great reviews. As many mentioned both the outside and inside of the restaurant are run down. The “Bronzed Catfish” was covered with a very unappetizing sauce. My husband had the walleye which he said was just...ok. Our waitress took our order and brought us our food with the most flat, disinterested attitude. This place is expensive for mediocre food and apethetic service in a run down atmosphere. The number of enthusiastic reviews are baffling.More

Stopped by for an early supper and was treated to not only great food but service also. The baked french onion soup was just the thing for a cool day. Followed that up with a Mike's Wrecker sandwish. Oh sooooo good. I would recommend this...place to on and allMore

My wife and I visited Frankenmuth for our Anniversary and we ate dinner at Oscar and Joey’s Roadhouse. We had sizzlin Walleye and Riveye Steak with wild mushroom sauce...both excellent! Also enjoyed the fried frog legs and pheasant soup. We will be back!

Not much parking up front but lots in the back. All kinds of exotic food to be had if you're game. The buffalo burgers are to die for, along with their hand battered onion rings. If you like 'em skinny, they'll cut 'em skinny. If...you like the fat ones, they'll accommodate. Fries are great, too. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful, efficient, and not the least bit pushy. It was my first time there but it won't be my last.More

We ordered the pan seared rib eye and it was absolutely tasteless. The steak was floating in a flavourless gravy. Even dousing it with salt didn't help. We didn't get the rolls or my side salad and waited 20 minutes to order dessert. Didn't get...to, since the server just came over with the bill without asking if we wanted anything else. Again, not her fault. They needed another server or two on the floor. We felt bad for her, but we kind of felt bad for us too. Would I recommend it? The only recommendation I would make is to drive by it to a place with better food.More

Our server was clearly familiar with gluten free which is a must for a family with Celiac’s in it. Fresh baked rolls started things off right for those of us who are fine with gluten. The fish and chips and burgers were pretty good, and...the chicken fingers were great. That’s right, GREAT chicken fingers. Service was friendly and price was reasonable. Was nice to find a non-chain place in Birch Run that did gluten free with confidence.More

I wanted something different and I was not disappointed. The service was fast and friendly. Attentive, but not interruptive. I ordered the Chicken Key Largo. A chicken breast served over a bed of rice with pineapple, mandarin oranges, coconut and a splash of some kind...of sauce. The taste was incredible! The salad was fresh and the Cesar dressing delicious. There is a notice on the door that they participate in a program that adds about 3.5% to your bill if you use a credit card for payment. The food was so good, I didn't care...More

The other reviews I read were right. Don’t judge this restaurant by the outside. All of the staff was great. The cook came out to ask us how are meals were. The food was great. The only thing I was disappointed in was that they...charge you a fee to use your credit card as payment.More

We had corned beef and cabbage here for St Patricks Day. It was very good. Potatoes, corned beef, cabbage, carrots, celery, plus a salad and 2 delicious rolls. Don't let the looks of the old building put you off. The food is really good.

No, did not do wings. Tried the rocky mountain oysters for the first time though! There are excellent wings at the blues bar-b-q place in Frankenmouth. A bit pricey, but the best wings I have had in a while.

I'm not sure, but we didn't have a problem getting a table either. It wasn't packed, and we were there on a Saturday, early evening. (5ish, maybe?)
