Nice stop when you are in the area. Pastries are also available and it is conveniently located. Good to see them back after the fire.

For a deli up north in a vacation town, the L'Chayim deli is quite good. The bagels have the hard crust and airy middle - not like factory produced chewy bread. The sandwich fillings are varied including meats, veggie, chicken and cream cheese. There are bread options if bagels aren't your thing for sandwiches. This is a counter service restaurant.... More

Delicious bagels with great portion of cream cheese. Chewy on the inside and crusty on the outside. Price was $3+ They have other sweet pastries like cinnamon rolls and cookies.

We had breakfast bagels and coffee here and it was very good. We also enjoyed the local artist's show inside.

Being National Brother's Day, thought I'd take my brother out for lunch , somewhere we haven't been yet. Great choice. The breads, bagels etc. made there are great. The sandwiches were loaded with meat & cheeses. I order , what I figured would be your basic 3 meat sandwich, The Tripoli. Holy cow, it was like 2" thick of goodness.... More

Bagels are better than any others. Sandwiches are so huge that you will end up taking 1/2 of it home. Try the potato salad and tell the owner that Marsha sent you.

Love the lox and cream cheese on the fresh everything bagel. Great sandwiches. And I always grab a pastry or cookie to go.

L'Chayim is unfortunately closed until next spring due to a fire. They have two locations - the original in Beulah and a second in Frankfort. Great Bagels and sandwiches and cookies and pastries. Look forward to their reopening!

Great, fresh deli sandwiches. All the varieties we've tried have been excellent. Unfortunately the service was very slow. We waited 45 minutes for 5 sandwiches. The place was not that busy. Granted they freshly slice their meats for each order, but 45 minutes was ridiculous. Despite the wait, the sandwiches were great. We will go back for sure.

We have always enjoyed the true deli style sandwiches here. On this visit (and we did come mid-afternoon) they were out of some key ingredients so we couldn't order our favorites. The surprise was in watching the girls behind the counter make the sandwiches. They did not wear food service gloves. They were handling all the foods bare-handed. Then they... More
