We came quite late but they still welcomed us with a warm smile and served us willingly. The appetizers were very good. We had the cheese bacon totters, which were superb. We also had the deep fried pickles, and that was an out of this world experience. To the point that we ordered them twice more. There are no words... More

My Dad was lured here by the Friday night fish fry. My mom and I had salads. He thoroughly enjoyed the fish and couldn't even eat any more than the initial serving. And order comes with fries and coleslaw. We loved the fresh loaf of warm bread served to us after our drink and order was taken. The knife however... More

We came to Bellaire to try "Short's" for dinner, but so did everyone in the county. We might have waited the 45 minutes to get a table, but many of the others waiting were very obnoxious and we didn't care to be with them that long. So we walked down the street to Toonies, and we're glad we did. The... More

just ok. very busy on a thursday evening - service was a little slow. Food took a long time. Had whitefish and burgers and beef sandwich. Good variety at table. Food was served hot - but nothing spectacular about it.

We visit Toonies at least once during our annual visits . and this time, met relatives for breakfast. One cousin declared, "The best breakfast in Bellaire!" The whole party enjoyed their assorted breakfasts . and I have to say, their pancakes are one of the largest I've every seen. I ordered one, and could only eat 1/2 of it. Others... More

If you love great food, nice people and great service, you will love Toonie's. At 216 Bridge Street you might pass it looking at all of the people on Short's Brewery's porch, but don't hesitate to stop in and visit. Their Friday Night Fish Fry is the best in the area and the wine glasses come with generous pours, unlike... More

Neither my husband nor I loved Toonies. Wait staff were very attentive. My husband had ribs and I had a fish sandwich. It was ok but not really good.

Went to Toonies for dinner on Friday night. All you can eat fish fry.....it was yummy. Fish, fries and great cole slaw. If you leave their hungry it is your fault. Service was quick even though they were very busy...Will definitely go back when in the area....
