I watched her before and during our meal. She worked nonstop cleaning, sanitizing, waiting on customers, taking phone orders, mixing drinks washing hands... washing hands...washing hands, sanitizing pens... our food was great and fast! Great job Jennifer, I wish we could duplicate you for so many hurting small businesses. Great work ethic!

Coleslaw 4 the Win

The atmosphere here is very clubhouse with lots of wood tones. A very warm environment. This is part of the Shanty Resort. Both people ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich.the meat was very tender with lots of flavor and bbq sauce only added to the overall taste. The bun was good, good stability, without being too much. The fries were good, but not the star of the show. An unexpected challenger the coleslaw was truly excellent. The person I was with fully agreed on all counts. I could eat a bucket of that coleslaw. The service was a little slow, but very friendly. Everything was very clean. Overall a 4 1/2 stars that I'm rounding to 5. I will be back!

Excellent Service

We came in after 8pm when the restaurant closes at 9. The hostess was pleasant and we did ask if the kitchen closed at a certain time ,in which she stated that they would accept parties and kitchen would stay open as long as they needed to. This was so nice to hear since many restaurants do not do this in the area and everything closes right at 9pm. Outside space is great. Little area for kiddos to play and kill some time until table was ready. Our server was so friendly and personable. Pesto salad is amazing! Wish we could have ate here again before leaving to come home, but unforunately ran out of time.

Famous place near Shanty Creek ski resort.

Had dinner and drinks here with friends. The place was certainly packed with families and couples. This is supposed to be a pretty famous place to go if you're in the area. The hostess and bartender were very friendly and delightful. It's a family run and operated establishment. The food was ok. They certainly did their best to make sure we were happy with our meal. Great customer service. Our server was the chef's daughter. If you're looking for fine dining, you might want to skip this place. If you want to experience an establishment where locals go for comfort food and ambience, then this is the place.

Tasty food on a pleasant patio

We were here for two special events, the Friday fish fry and Tuesday shrimp fest. Both meals were excellent and the servers were friendly and efficient. The outdoor patio, adjacent to the golf course, is a very pleasant setting.

Been here many times and will continue. Food is good, has a brick oven pizza recent visit. It was delicious, crust was crispy and perfect. Drinks are good and beer is cold. Always a good staff! Fish fry, smash burgers, perch, trash can nachos…. All tasty! The view is beautiful and they have outdoor live music.

This place is amazing and a great price too.

An amazing meal for a good price (at least compared to eating in the northeast). This place had ample seating socially distanced outside, nice live music, and an outstanding menu. My family loved it so much that we tried to go back again on Friday night, but oops we didn't realize Friday night would be an hour wait to get in. Actually anywhere in the Bellaire was pretty back on Friday and Saturday nights. This place is highly recommended!

Picked Up Fish n Chips Baskets

Picked up fish and chips baskets during Stay at Home order and they were pretty good. Of course with any carry out the fries turn a little soggy, but fish was great. Wish they had more options on their carry out menu.

One of the eateries we will miss after vacation.

We enjoyed eating here both nights of our week at Shanty Creek. The weather was perfect for entertainment in their outdoor venue and we could partake of both food and music. Our first night was their fish night. Not all you can eat but we took over half back to our resort. It was the best! The side salad alone was a full meal! The crowd was comfortable and very lively as they enjoyed the music. Service by Karsyn was great both nights. One of the eateries we will miss after vacation.

Night out with wife

Stopped in tonight. Couple of great burgers and fries. Friendly staff. They have a dessert pizza which was quite good. Been here a couple times and have never been disappointed yet. Very nice menu with reasonable pricing.

Come for the pizza; stay for the music.

We’ve had burgers here (the BEST) but this time we decided to try a pizza. It was amazing. The pepperoni had a teeny bit of a kick to it and it was so good! Then “Willy Jam” played his music. Absolutely fabulous musician. Harmonica, trumpet and the guitar. He is amazing at all Of them and is a great entertainer. What a super fun night!!

We found this gem a few years ago. We had to make a reservation due to social distancing. The restaurant was clean. They have changed the menu since last summer but it was still good. The drinks could have been better to fit more of a tiki vibe but having a better blender but the food was excellent - chicken Alfredo and walleye.

Excellent service and dinner

After seeing the crowd for Friday night fish fry, we decided to give it a try. My wife had the walleye and said it was very good. I had the Old bay shrimp, which was fantastic. Our waitress was excellent , always there went we needed her.

Good dinner with friends

We went here for dinner with a group of friends. We had the summer salad and bang shrimp. The salad was large and very good. The apple vinegarette dressing was really good and so was the shrimp. I had a few onion rings also which was very good. Overall very good food, good service, and a good time with friends.
