I don't care when you go - you are greeted with a smile and great service. In the 40 + years that we have been going there, we have never had bad food. It's Italian as will as American fare. If you like liver & onions - this is the ONLY place in Bay City to go. Add bacon for... More

Cannot visit my old hometown without going to Grandpa Tony's at least once. The steak sandwich with cheese and mushrooms is the best. Also had to have the to-die-for deep fried mushrooms. Friends had their famous pizza. Back in Denver now jonesing for the steak sandwich........!

I know, there are two restaurants in Bay City. The one visited last night for Girls Night and had a wonderful dinner. It was a small group, just 4, not the usual. But we had a very good meal and enjoyed talking and catching up. I had the turkey- fantastic. One had shrimp, another had Italian...... we all had to... More

The chicken Alfredo has a delicious Parmesan sauce with fork tender chicken strips and perfectly cooked broccoli. The nachos are surprisingly good, better than many Mexican restruants offerings. Parking is sparse so you may need to walk a little ways to get to good food. There are a variety of baked goods, pickles and beers available for purchase.

This is my favorite place in BC. The baked speg, ravioli meat and wop salads are amazing. We basically get the same thing each time. My kids love the bread basket just like I do. 40 years I've been going here. Great memories. Old style Italian atmosphere. I don't think this place has been updated in years. Lots of bar... More

This is our closest Grampa Tony's and thus we visit it often! Try the pizza! Try a sandwich! Nachos! Whatever you try it is consistently good so you can't go wrong. The Nachos are enough for two meals but you can get a box to take them home or share with a friend or relative. On the way out pick... More

We've been to this restaurant before and had great food and service. This time, not so much. My son's food was cold, our drinks ran dry, and the waitress didn't check in with us, passing by several times without making eye contact.

We ordered the classic steak sandwich and it is still great. Chicken noodle soup, grilled mozzarella, the special with red cream soda. It is is great comfort food. A signature family gathering
