This was my first visit to this Thai restaurant. I ordered the Basil n Chili which included shrimp, red and green bell peppers, onions, carots, broccoli, green beans, mushrooms, scallions & basil leaves and white rice. The food was delicious and fresh. The waitress was very good and refilled my water glass as needed. The menu has several food options to include appetizers, salads, fish and seafood and classical Thai wok entrees. Many vegetarian dishes are available also. Many healthy choices available. I will definitely be back.

I ordered a delicious seafood combo and asked for the least amount of spicy. Even THAT was still way too spicy. I really couldn't even enjoy it because it was too much. So hate to say it but probably won't go back.

We ordered online for take-out. The menu lets you choose if items need to be gluten-free. Everything tasted great but both items we ordered as gluten-free contained gluten.

Service was good... food was excellent. Got a visit from the chef which was nice. All-in-all a great night. Ambience is nice and music was low and easy to listen to.

Five of us had an early dinner on a Saturday dinner and were impressed with the clarity of the menu, the many excellent choices, and the friendly service. We shared the scallion pancake and dumpling appetizers, and the pad thai, tofu angel, drunken noodle, and the yellow curry dishes. All were excellent and two of us enjoyed leftovers. We will definitely return.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The owner is extremely friendly, the food is unbelievably delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I have recommended this place for coworkers to entertain customers, brought my sister for her birthday, and continue to find excuses to go back all the time. I’ve tried several different plates and I can’t decide what is my favorite, it’s all so good! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We happen to be in Worcester and saw Basil n'Spice at the first annual dragon boat race at Quinsigamond Lake Park.
So we went to their location on Shrewsbury st.
We enjoyed the chicken satay,tung tong and basil n' spice rice.

I went with a party of four. So I got to see and taste the quality of the food for four different dishes. I would recommend the pad thai, and the curry dishes, and the appetizers. I ordered the Tom kha soup which I found to be overly sweet and only came with one piece of shrimp - so not worth the cost and I could barely eat the dish. The sticky rice was decent. The pork buns and the another appetizer that had minced meat in it were very good. All around a good value and the service was a bit slow, but responsive. I think it was slow because there were two parties of over 10 people each, although the restaurant was only about half full at around 7pm on a Saturday night.

Stopped in here on a Saturday evening around 6pm. It must be a slow weekend because we were one of the only customers. We were met with super friendly staff and our waitress was very kind and professional. I ordered a mai tai ($9) and my husband ordered a beer. The mai tai was delicious with a nice presentation. For an app, we ordered the Thai spring rolls (4 rolls per order) and they were delicious! I ordered the Pad See You with chicken and it was amazing! Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My husband enjoyed the Basil Pad Thai. Both dishes were around $12. Overall, we were surprised they did not have more customers in! They offer take out and dine in. They have a small, shared parking lot but it was easy to find a spot on the street. I would definitely go back! Already dreaming about my leftovers....

The live music was great but the food was very bland and tasteless. We each ordered four plates, 3 chicken plates and 1 tofu. All were bland.

We went here for a family dinner. There were hardly 5 to 6 people in such a large restaurant on a weekend dinner. I actually wondered why but found out once I finished mine.
The soup was fresh but a tinge more on that it tasted raw. The scallion pancake was good though but not sure if the soy sauce was the right combination with it.
The noodles were decorated well but it had more vegetables in it than the noodles itself. It wasn't very inviting to eat nor tasty.
Overall, there is good scope for improvement in the quality of food, its contents and taste.

First time and not out last. It is on Shrewsbury street tucked in back off side street between Dunkin Donuts and Funky Murphy's. Our server Mark was very good and helped us through menu and checked often during meal. My wife had a Vegetable Stir Fry with shrimp and I opted for the Chicken Chile (a little spicy). Both dishes came promptly and were nice and hot, They come with white rice but you could opt for brown rice (+$.95). Both very tasty and we both cleaned our plates. They had beer and wine and full bar but we only had ice water. We'll be back.
