This place can't be beat. It's like a trip in a time machine. Dogs and burgers the way they ought to be.

Hot dog's are cheap and delicious! The atmosphere is great. I had the beans last time too and they were actually pretty good. Not the best I've had but definitely the best from a restaurant.

Don't know how we missed it all these years of visiting Worcester. Hot dogs. Hot Dogs. Hot Dogs. Oh, and I think there was Grilled Cheese on the board and perhaps baked beans. But they clearly are specialists and the specialty was hot dogs - steam dogs - soft bun - traditional toppings or the works (mustard, relish, onions, chili,... More

Not realizing that the establishment only takes cash, I proceeded to order our Chili Dogs and RC Colas. # 1: I'm always happy when a place carries RC. #2: If you're from a different region, please keep an open mind. We really loved the taste of our chili dog. It wasn't like our Texas Chili Dogs, but, it was very... More

To eat at Coney Island is to step back in time - if you go with a sense of humor and a few dollars in your pocket, you can have a great lunch for very little money. (But NO, there's no way you should go here for dinner. Area can be a bit sketchy...better to plan on a day you... More

If you go to an event at the Centrum, or whatever its called this week, lunch at Coney Island is mandatory. The circus? Hockey? Basketball? Concert, yeah even Frank Sinatra. Coney Island has seen it all. AND now that they have a bar, I strongly suggest class reunions start or end there.

Coney Island is a Worcester landmark. It has changed little in the past 50 years and that's because you don't mess with perfection. The hot dogs are mild, the sauce is sublime, the chocolate milk is creamy and the baked beans are New England all the way.

If it is I won't be going! Just another hot dog place. No real special thrills here. Maybe I am just too simple when it comes to hot dogs?

We stopped by the Coney Island after visiting the Art Museum. The location is very popular with locals. What we got was 4 badly burned hot dogs to the point of being mostly black on the outside. The burnt hot dogs were covered in chillie sauce to hide how badly burnt they were. The location is a bit dirty, and... More

The quintessential place to scoff down a dog. Gotta try the Coney Island sauce, it's legendary in these parts.
