I love this place - the filet mignon is outstanding every single time. I have never had a bad meal here. The ceasar salad with bacon & anchovies is to die for.

Though one of staples of Worcester restaurants, I won't go there because of the noise. I cannot hear my dining partners across the table because of the reverberating sound in the large, warehouse-sized room. For such an expensive restaurant you'd think that that dining experience...would be more intimate.More
Go here every Christmas when visiting family from the UK. It was disappointing this visit. Service was good. Rib on the bone was more medium than the requested medium rare, the meat was not the best quality - disappointing for a $50 steak. It was...also woefully under seasoned. The Brussels sprouts had one piece of bacon in, and were smothered with way too much sweet balsamic. Mash and broccoli were fine. Hollandaise we asked for on the side was tiny. Bearnaise was tiny and did not taste of tarragon. Pork chop was tender and good. Overall not worth the $300 bill for 3 adults and one child who ate a little of the sides only. $100 per head needs to be better than this. Will unlikely come back next time we’re in town.More
One Eleven never fails to impress. The staff knows how to take care of your needs without being intrusive. The best steak I've ever had, hands down.
Well, I normally don’t review a less than average review if they are trying. The ambiance was great, service was tops but the level of food was iffy. Hoping they up the ingredients some and make it a real chop house.
Came here for Worcester restaraunt week and ordered the off the Prix Fixe menu. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, which was very lightly fried shrimp with a sweet chili sauce. Really good light fry, golden brown and loved the spicy sweet chili sauce. I...wasn't impressed with the tomato bisque, it was a more acidic sauce, rather than the creamy bique that I would expect. The Caesar salad was fresh and very good. The Braised Boneless Short Rib over a creamy parmesean roasted red pepper and baby spinach risotto with sour cream was good. I would have liked top see a little more risotto underneath the short rib. Still pretty good though. More of a 3.5 star, it was good but not great.More
So sad to have to write a less than stellar review of the 111 Chop House. 20 years or so ago, this was a guaranteed special night out with amazing, upscale food. We've had some wonderful meals here including Father's Day, romantic dinners, and one...outing where we ordered every single small plate item on the bar menu, running up a tab of about $350 for 3 people. We gladly paid it because it was such a special experience. Not so this evening. I would think that restaurants would be going the extra mile to insure that every detail was attended to, but being seated in a booth with a ripped seat and absolutely no cushioning sets a less than elegant tone. We were greeted warmly by Emma who took our drink orders. She was very personable and pleasant. Our waiter came over to answer some questions and brought delicious, warm rolls. Our main question centered on the LobsterFest menu. My wife wanted the filet and grilled lobster tail. Normally the filet comes with lobster cakes and the grilled lobster tail is served with the sirloin. Our waiter said he would check with the chef and came back quickly. "Yes, we can substitute the lobster tail and serve it with the filet with no problem." My wife then ordered the lobster bisque appetizer. She was told, "All of the entrees come with soup or salad. Would you like that to be your soup?" to which she replied, "Yes." The lobster bisque was delicious, and my onion soup was good, but a tad salty. When her meal came, it was the sirloin and lobster cakes - she wanted NEITHER of those items! They brought the exact opposite of what she had ordered. This meant that I was left sitting there with my food getting cold while they had to remake her entire meal. After a while, the manager came over to apologize and offered to take my meal back to the kitchen to stay warm. (Why hadn't the waiter offered this?) When my wife's meal came back, the nicely plated mashed potatoes were now a round scoop like the ones served in a school cafeteria, there were 3 asparagus spears (that's a side?), the lobster tail, and the fillet. The fillet was tender, the lobster tail adequate, and the potatoes and asparagus ordinary. While we dined, we could hear the manager and the waiter loudly discussing how to charge for my wife's dinner. They then moved over to the open kitchen and continued the discussion at a loud volume with the chef. This was very awkward and made us feel very uncomfortable. When the bill came, imagine our surprise that we were charged $11.99 for the lobster bisque! When I asked the waiter about it, he said, "Oh, there is an upcharge for lobster bisque." However, the regular price for lobster bisque IS $11.99, which means they charged it as an appetizer. That would have been fine if she had then been offered the salad that supposedly comes with the meal. When I asked the waiter about this, he responded, "That's just how it is." to which I responded, "You can see the lack of logic in that, though, right?" He answered, "No, not really." and walked away. That rude answer, along with the rest of his incompetency cost him most of his tip. We definitely will NOT be back ever again. There are too many other great restaurants. Sadly, 111 Chop House is no longer one of them.More
It was brought to the table in a roll that was soaking wet; as though the lobster had been taken out of the shell over the roll with water falling into it and soaking it. Very little flavor of Mayo or anything else! I would...have immediately sent it back but we were with another couple and I did not want to create a scene. A complete waste of $39++!!! This is billed be a high end restaurant with high end food and service … the service was fine but… this lobster roll wasn’t worthy of a pushcart vendor! Absolutely AWFUL!!!More
t was OK but when my rib eye came it was fatty and l could have got that at longhorns, The scallop potato's were raw, my wife filet and lobster look sick, our waitress Nicole was half asleep and never check to see if our...meals we cooked right, Griffen looked like a deer in headlights, they the next table waiter saw us done and took my wife uneaten filet the thru it away, Just not the same top shelf place it used to be, Thats the management not doing there job Heads should rollMore
We booked a table for 2 for a birthday celebration. It was a busy Friday night but we were seated in less than five minutes. In short, it was a wonderful experience. The food was exactly perfect. Best prime rib I’d ever eaten and my...partner loved the bourguignon. Service was prompt but not hurried in the least. Julien our waiter was very accommodating and our order came exactly as we requested. They even provided a dessert from their sister restaurant next door (Via Italian Table) as that’s what I wanted. All in all a perfect night out. The only note to be aware of is that valet parking was suspended during the pandemic and has not returned, so add some extra minutes to find a parking space, especially on a busy night.More
They do a lot of things right. Good service, nice chow, good wine list... nice atmosphere. For the area, stands out... and much better than my last visit. I hadn't been here for about 6 years as I didn't find it consistent. I'm glad to...report, based on this visit, they are doing a fine job. Salads were excellent. WIfe's Filet and my Stuffed Shrimp were very good. Sides excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDMore
I travel throughout the country for work. I enjoy eating a nice Prime steak at various steakhouses when out with clients. This restaurant has a great overall ambiance. Great wine selection and food and service was outstanding. Highly recommend!
Excellent Restaurant to go for dinner or to host a large group gathering. This company goes above and beyond for every guest. They held a delicious lunch gathering after my fathers funeral for over 100 people. The compliments are still coming from family that traveled...hours to the funeral about how good the meal and ambiance of the restaurant was. Thank you 111 team for making a positive experience out of a day with so much sadness.More
Great steaks and service. We met and had dinner at 111 Chophouse on Friday. The service was great and very attentive. The bang-bang shrimp starter was tasty. Beer selection was excellent with several good choices. We got a soup and a salad as our pre-meal...the salad was very hearty, and the soup looked and tasted great. For dinner choices, we had trouble deciding so both opted for surf and turf. My son ordered prime strip steak and lobster tail and I got ribeye and crab cake. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The lobster tail was prepared well and cooked perfectly tender. On balance, the only misfire was the crab cake, which was meaty but was very fishy. It may have been around for a bit. All other food was very good. We finished with bread pudding and chocolate cake, which were both excellent finishes. Overall the entrees are a bit pricey. Great restaurant for special occasions.More
Had a great time at 111 Chop House. Despite restrictions on seating and wearing a mast our party of 5 had a great experience. The food was great and the service exceptional. Our waiter, Brandon was fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant. Larry B
