One Good Asian lunch at a Quality Restaurant

We had lunch at the Kenichi Asian Bistro. My wife had the Orange chicken and had the beef with mixed vegetables. Both dishes were very delicious. The is a quality asian bistro that provide excellent entrees. Prices were comparable to the area. We will return.

Unpretentious yet amazing!

You’d never stop at Kenichi based on a drive-by, but you can’t judge a book by its cover! I’ve eaten here many times and the quality of seafood/sushi is always top class. The selection is amazing and service always exceptional.

Chicken Wings are AMAZING

Once you've had Kenichi's chicken wings, you'll never want any others. If you like them hot, let them know, they'll spice them up just right for you. They are not the traditional buffalo style wings. These are crispy outside, juicy inside and have a hot bite that's just right. Cool them down with a Mai Tai, you will NOT be disappointed!

Allergies? Do not go here

If you have ALLERGIES ~ do NOT go here. I was very clear about allergies specifically saying not to add it to the dish, I heard the server inform the chef and he still put it in where we could not initially see it and ate some of the allergen. Luckily we had meds with us He remade it however did not clean the work area and it was still on the plate. Very disappointed The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is my food did taste good and my server was attentive, otherwise it would not be that high

Delicious, fresh sushi and drinks!

Kenichi Bistro was the first restaurant I had sushi at. I keep returning because of the quality ingredients and friendly staff. Can be pretty fun later at night with a scorpion bowl!

Great menu, great service

We were here on a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed. Even with that, the service was fantastic and the food was fresh and came out quickly. They have sushi, obviously, but they also have a considerable selection of other dishes including donburi, which I'd never seen on any other Japanese restaurant's menu before. Drinks were very reasonably priced. We had a great time and will be back.

Great Addition to Worcester Sushi Scene

This was my second trip. The first was a solo visit a few months ago. I came back with family on Christmas Eve. This is a small, vibrant place, reminiscent of sushi bars I visited in Tokyo. Their fish is fresh and their maki rolls are creative. They also offer some Chinese & Thai staples. We started with an order of spicy crab rangoon and Spicy Tuna Tostada Pizza. The owner came by to see if we thought the rangoon were spicy enough. We told them we like spicy food and they could be kicked up a bit. He came back a while later with samples for us and patrons sitting on the bar and asked for everyone's feedback on the heat level. Feedback from the bar patrons ranged from "oh my god these are hot" to 5 out of 10. We agreed with the 5s. For our meal we selected a few of their special rolls and some sushi and sashimi. We added an order of pad thai. Service was attentive but not overly so. Bartender gives a good pour on the mixed drinks. We'll be back. We also need to check out their sister restaurant on Park Ave. - Sake Bomb.

Perhaps we missed something... but willing to try again

I'd been curious about this place for some time but just finally made it in (after reading positive reviews). It was a busy Friday night and that may explained why the service didn't seem as wonderful as other reviewers have assessed it to be. Actually, the waitress barely even approached the table when she tossed the credit card holder onto the table before walking away. I would not call that warm, friendly service. The maki rolls and order of sushi that we ordered were pretty good. The shrimp tempura roll was fairly soggy. The spicy tuna had very little spicy mayonnaise (I don't like it doused, but I do like to taste the spice). I would try this place again (given that it is convenient to where I live) to see if it is a better experience.

We just can't get enough of this place, it's that awesome!

We have come to LOVE LOVE LOVE Kenichi Bistro! My partner Amanda and I are so happy to have found the perfect local sushi spot for us, we feel right at home there. We get takeout and dine in here as much as we can afford to. What a gem, the owners and the staff are awesome, the sushi is the best around, the drinks are made perfectly every time - and they almost always have delicious toro and sometimes chutoro on the menu. This is the real deal. We have turned quite a few of our friends onto Kenichi as well and they all love it... one lives an hour away and has made more then one detour for a delicious sushi dinner. A couple months ago we got a big group together here and we all had such a wonderful time. During the week they have great lunch specials too.

AMAZING, best sushi we've had in the lower 48!

I'm kicking myself for not finding this place sooner, its without a doubt the best sushi we've had since Japan. We had such an amazing meal here I went back a few days later to get some takeout. The sushi is oh so fresh, with delicious cuts of toro and chu toro on the menu (and available!), and prices were very reasonable. We tried this tuna pizza appetizer dish that was out of this world, and the tempura ice cream was amazing. Every piece of sashimi we tried was perfect, the hamachi was the best I've tasted! The service was friendly and attentive, the cocktails were mixed perfectly... we don't want to get sushi anywhere else now so we'll definitely be new regulars at Kenichi!

Good food and a good price.

Here's a place I tried base on a recommendation from the folks at JN Phillips Auto Glass on Park Ave. in Worcester, who said, "you've got to try this warm and welcoming sushi place." And, you know, they were right! The staff immediately welcomes you and you feel like this could be a good new place. To many restaurants forget, that treating the costumer with respect is half of the key in getting returning patrons. Anyway, the Spicy chicken and eel sushi were great, and the price was right. Enjoy.
