6 of us had dinner on chilly night in September. The appetizers of bang bang shrimp are very good. Calamari is good as is buffalo cauliflower. Burgers are just ok. Chicken sandwich is not that good.
Waitress staff seemed preoccupied. Had to ask for small things like a glass for my beer, napkins, etc. over and over.
Bartender was helping deliver drinks and she seemed agitated. Drinks were splashed as she rushed to drop them off.
Funny. There was 6 of us having dinner and gratuity was included in bill. We don’t mind this as we dine out often together and are always good tippers. Just wondering if staff knows that there getting 18 percent , maybe care less?
Also. Unless there is a special sometimes imho the raw bar is overpriced
We will try another place on our next trip.

Three of us had dinner on a Sunday evening. The service was lacking. We ordered drinks and an appetizer for the table. No plates were brought to us. The waitress walked by and took the basket of fried pickles and we weren’t done with them. The bus boy brought our entrees out. We had to ask for ketchup, tarter sauce, salt and pepper, napkins, etc. Our drinks were empty, and no one around to get us more. My baked scrod with potatoes and veggies were great. My SIL eggplant entree was very tasty too. The other entree was fried cod basket. The fish was fried in old oil, and had that burnt bread crumb taste, the fries were soggy and cold, and the cole slaw was warm and not fit to eat. Very disappointed.

This spot was a great place to chill as we wrapped up a great week on Cape Cod. The seafood was fresh and delicious. Some in our group were not seafood fans and had alternate items but all were pleased. Would definitely return.

If you are trying to adhere to social distancing and wearing a mask then shuckers is not the place for you to dine. I visited last night for dinner. We were a party of 3. The hostesses sitting to our right kept taking their masks off, they were not sanitizing their hands throughout our visit although their hands were constantly on their face pulling the masks off to chat. More concerning though was a group of approx 12 guest that came in.As they were waiting for their table all of them took masks off and were crowded over our table ( within arms distance as they waiting ). I got very unsettled as my food was dropped with a large crowd hanging over my table and not wearing masks ( they are supposed to stay on until they are sitting at their tables). Finally I asked the staff who had been choosing to ignore this to have them distance from our table. I called manager when I got home and she said sorry but it’s hard to make people listen. She claims she asked them to move prior but they wouldn’t. They were literally hovering over me , in a time without covid precautions I would not be comfortable with this. I would have seen manager interaction if she had gone over prior as she claimed. This large group was not approached by staff until I said something, then they did move without issue. I reminded manager if they chose to reopen they have an obligation to adhere to these procedures to keep public as safe as possible and if patrons are not following regulations they have an obligation to the other patrons to ask these people to leave. She told me I could have left. I wanted to , believe me , but my friends were eating as this was occurring and it put me in an awkward position. If they are not caring about taking necessary stops which are some of the simplest on the floor I worry about what’s not being followed behind the scenes in the kitchen and dishroom. I am aware these are difficult times for restaraunt owners. This is the third establishment I visited in past three weeks and they are the only ones I have fun into not enforcing. By the stance taken when I called I don’t see they are going to be enforcing either.
If your looking in the area I dined at Captain Kids next door earlier in the week. Procedures followed there. I would recommend you go to captain kids over here

We stopped at Shuckers for a lunch. We were seated outside on the dock which was great. The service was attentive and the food came out promptly. The food itself was average. The lobster roll was skimpy and the stuffed clams, although tasty, could have been crisped up on top as the stuffing was a bit mushy. The ice tea and chowder were good. Overall, it was a pleasant outdoor lunch with average food

Fisherman’s Platter was full of Calamari and a few tiny clams. Very disappointing and did was not what waitress told us it was. Hostess was very pleasant and helpful and server was very good. Preserve the Shucker Rum drink that was a basically bitter Grapefruit w rum amd vodka. It also attracted yellow jackets that we have to chase away while we tried to eat.

Only 3 servers for the entire place for dinner! Manager told me I made the server cried. I am so upset since I was not angry or upset with her. I knew she was overwhelmed. My fish sandwich came out with loads of old bay seasoning, their version of blackened. It was horrible! 4 of us had a terrible experience and we did not take it out on our server. Shame on the manager and the hostess who never smiled. Poorly run business, My sympathy for the staff f!

Stopping in for a light lunch and some raw clams, Shuckers is the popular spot. Our waitress Sarah did a fine job. Sitting out back you have a great view of the marina. Prices are reasonable for the area.

Perfect place for dinner on the water. Sat outside and enjoyed the view. Service was excellent. Both the waitress and hostess raved about the new chef and he did not disappoint. Took the server's recommendation and had the lobster risotto. One of the best meals I have ever had.

We stopped by and asked the hostess if dogs were welcome and both of us and Chloe were seated on the deck. Ordered oysters, salad with chicken and a fish sandwich for lunch. Oysters were great and the fish sandwich was top notch. Salad was good, view was fantastic. Waitress brought water bowl for the dog.

We sat the bar because we had no reservations. We still had a great view of the docks, talked with the pleasant bartender and had a drink and lobster roll. Ambience and juke box music was also great. We would recommend Shuckers!

Beautiful view & great staff. The food was poor & expensive. Fish sandwich was a very SMALL pc. of dark fish on a hamburger bun (sesame seed?nope) worst I've ever had. Fries were gd. The chowder was loaded with rosemary(?) We're from here & never had this. Always expensive on the Cape but this was a place we loved that's off our list!

A short walk from the ferry terminal in Woods Hole, Mass., near the Oceanographic Institution. Small seating area with more seating on a floating dock. Tables on the dock can get a lot of sun. View is more of the boats in the marina than the water, but still very scenic. Good selection of cold beers and ales. I ordered the fish tacos and they were very good. Street parking can be hard to find.

My daughter and I took the Shining Sea Bike Trail from Falmouth to Woods Hole. There are many choices on the water, so I decided to ask a woman working at a local craft market. She suggested Shuckers, because of the fries alone. She was correct. Best fries that we have had on the Cape.
The views are amazing. I could have stayed there for hours, if we didn't have to bike 3 miles back to the bike shop. There is car parking nearby.
It would be perfect for a nice romantic dinner, or bring the kids and let them feed the local wild life. It is just a few minutes walk from the ferry port. It's well worth a quick pit spot.

Came in for a little afternoon delight and Damien R provided just that. Enjoyed the oysters and the quahog (very unusual). Nice glass of wine and a couple of local beers. Very good mid afternoon experience.
