We were in a rush to attend a talk at MBL up the road, so only had time for the truffle and regular fries. Both were very yummmy! Not too oily, just crisp enough, tender inside, hand cut on premises, and lots of potato flavor....They have a good craft beer menu and their vegan burger looked so good. The service was very friendly and quick. Thanks!More

We didn;t have a reservation and the hostess seated us on the 3rd floor in front of the windows where we were able to see the harbor and the ferry dock so it was very enjoyable dinner watching the coming and goings. The food was...delish...we had crab cakes for appetizers and it was full of crab with just the right amount of fillers and the sauce was delish as well. My hubby had the scallops over summer vegiesMore

Extremely so-so. The staff was stand-off-ish and the clam chowder was like flavored hot water…the potatoes were almost hard in it.

We had dinner in Quicks hole Tavern and it was super delicious. The appetizers were great,we had pork belly and lobster salad. For main course I had halibut and my boyfriend had a seafood risotto and both were amazing. The draft beer is also great.Good service. It’s a bit...pricey,but definitely worth it.The only issue is parking, you have to drive around and look for meters. The place is small but we had great dinner and highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great meal.More

We ate on the first floor. There was only one person working the bar/restaurant. Had to grab their attention to get them to serve us (constant throughout the night). We went in the evening and once a huge crowd left, you’d think our server would...be more attentive. Nope. Even forgot part of our order. Service was extremely slow. Wouldn’t recommend this place for a quick bite. The burger was good, but the fries was a bit to crispy for my liking. Overall, I rate this poor due to the service.More

We held my daughter's wedding reception dinner in the Quicks Hole Tavern function room on the third floor. Its intimate setting was just what we were looking for. Both the general manager and the head chef were very helpful and flexible in planning the event....They seemed to really care that the meal was prepared and served so that it enhanced the celebration of this important event. The food was superb, and the service was impeccable. It really made the evening special. Note that the function room is small. It seats only 24 people, but it was just right for our party of 18. You can also reserve it for a stand up reception. The website says it can accommodate up to 49 persons standing.More

Quicks Hole was quite good before the pandemic, but this time it was a disappointment with a sparse menu and inferior wine list. It’s probably due, understandably, to Covid, and hopefully QH will get back to where it was as the summer brings more diners.

We were wandering around on BBC a Saturday night in Woods Hole looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and a beer. We found Quick’s Hole on a corner right near the ferry pier. It was great. We ste in the bar...as it was quieter than the restaurant. The lobster roll was amazing!!! The donuts for dessert were very good!! We were pleased with Quick’s Hole!!More

Before Covid I would get a burger here every couple of weeks and have been waiting a year to come back and resume my burger habits. I could not be more disappointed: - I was the only customer in the restaurant but the food was...stone cold when I got it. - The bun is new, nowhere near as good as last year's "brioche" bun. Also, it was a bit greasy - The patty was cooked right but tasteless. Did you replace the old angus beef with something cheaper? - I asked for uncooked onion and got a little piece of onion on 1/2 the burger. Used to get a whole slice of red onion. The fries were soggy. How hard is it to get the fry oil to the correct temp and cook fries correctly? About the price (for beer and a burger): it used to be something like $21 and now it is $27. On the whole I get a better at Burger King, plus they know how to cook fries, and it costs about $10. Service was fine. But your burger is not an experience worth repeating. I'll check back in a few months and see if you've gotten it together.More

My husband and I had lunch here yesterday. He had the lobster roll on the Portuguese bread. I had the fish sandwich. They both were delicious. We will definitely eat here again.

On a very rainy night my husband and I wanted something easy, and suitable to bring back to our hotel room. We took a chance based on reviews and were very pleased. Order intake online was easy and curbside pick up relatively easy (note: parking...is at a premium and if ferry has just arrived it's pretty tough to park in QHT loading zone as they suggest). However we were able to tuck in at a different spot and watch the door so crisis averted. Lobster salad was seasoned with an herb that made it especially tasty, and they include a generous slice of lemon. The roll was toasted and excellent. We both opted for a side salad and that was delicious and a pleasant surprise-- not your standard garden fare but a tad fancier with sesame seeds even. Overall, elevated dining in a to-go box! Very pleased indeed.More

This spot is attached to Woods Hole Inn. This is a fabulous spot for drinks and tacos. The staff are very friendly here. We had margaritas, sangria and tacos. We had lobster tacos and blackened shrimp tacos. Fabulous. Probably the best tacos I’ve had in...a long time. Very flavorful and the spot was very nice since we were outdoors eating and enjoying the atmosphere.More

Just Street parking – and Woods Hole is really tough to park in – but if you drive around enough and hit it at the right time you can get lucky.
