This is the closest restaurant in my hotel so I have to try their Chinese food. I have been to many restaurants but their food and cooking is below average. The price is expensive. The only attraction is the restaurant itself which is a local landmark and formerly a mansion of one of the earliest settler in Woburn.

While on vacation and exploring the Boston suburbs, we ended up here after hearing about the Sichuan Garden's reputation for great Chinese food and exotic mixed drinks. But by the time we got there my son was exhausted and begged to just go back to the hotel. Solution? Have hubby go in, place a take out order at the bar... More

This place is very cool and the outside (and surrounding area) is so deceiving. You look like you've just pulled up to a bad colonial paint job but once you walk in you realize that this is a stunning restaurant with tons of separate rooms and a really neat experience. Dinner was delish, but after we moved upstairs to the... More

First time back in nearly 2years and well worth the trip. Allot of new things including a much expanded menu and more dining rooms. The food is just as wonderful as I remember. We had s group of 8 so we ordered a large variety to share and no one could find anything to complain about. All the dishes are... More

The owner. Sometimes he's at the front desk but he's so rude and not polite at all, he told me I don't care if don't have you like a customer. And I'm not a rude person I was very polite to him, he just don't have the food the information was asking for, but you he couldn't say nothing good,

Credit where credit is due these folks hire very talented and knowledgeable chefs, and most of the many dishes I have tried here are WAYBetter Than Average. Which is why I have dined here dozens of times. Not sure if its a cultural thing, or what, but when things go south here, I think you'll find its a safer bet... More

After reading the outstanding review in the Boston Globe, we made a reservation for 6 of us and went around Christmas. We got seated in a quiet back room and the service was exceptionally slow and bad. The drinks were fairly prompt (Trader Vic's Mai Tai was good), but the food took several hours, with the Fried rice coming out... More

The spicy food is very good, ALMOST (but not quite) as Sichuan Gourmet, but this place offers a prize-winning bartender and many delicious alcoholic concoctions. Try the hot dry chicken, any of the specials, be adventurous - and keep the drinks coming. I always order the "Bartender's choice", so I don't have to read the tiny print on the menu... More

We were very pleased with everything. All dishes from the kitchen came out piping hot and delicious. The egg drop and hot & sour soups were among the best I've ever had. Spring rolls were hot and crispy. Kung Pao chicken and shredded pork with sweet red peppers were superb. Service was excellent. The only exception was the limited wine... More

The drinks are strong, the servers do not speak very good English, the chicken fingers are by far the best I've ever had in my life at an Asian restaurant but the rest of the food was just so so. The sauces are absolutely fantastic I believe that the sweet and sour sauce is made in-house. If you're ever in... More
