Stopped by around 3pm on the way to our Airbnb. They were very accommodating and they offer us both lunch and dinner menus. Food was very good. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommend it.

We went here in more-than-a-rush. We told them about that situation and they were very accomodating despite having a full seating.
There is something about their salsa, that is addictive. Everybody at the table of 8 kept on asking for more.
Their food was certainly above average of the Mexican places.
Most people at the table went for the fajitas, and the absolute agreement was how delicious they were. I had the creamy scallops and they also were very tasty.
Will repeat and give a try different options.

The food is just okay. A couple of appetizers are good. Margaritas are practically manufactured. The Coconut Shrimp is good. It isn't on the menu but is always verbally announced as a special. The owner is a very odd and, in my view, a very biased person based on protected class hostility (observed over a long time.) of his choice. If we want a much higher rated and superior Mexican food experience nearby you must try Angela's Cafe which has two locations in East Boston, very nearby. For many in Metro Boston, this is the only good source of Mexican food. The Chicken Mole is superior, and the rest of the menu is fabulous, and all can be served with mole. Another favorite is the Carne Asada. Just about a mile from La Siesta across from the Orient Heights subway. The Eagle Hill restaurant is about 3 miles. Disfrute de una mejor experiencia gastronĂłmica!

Nice atmosphere and average-tasting mexican food. One small basket of chips is complementary. Sauce is great! Wide variety in menu choices. We had the special of the day: fajitas . Had been a couple of other times with average results. It was convenient to where we were staying and it was mexican.

My wife and I come here very often. I enjoy doing business with locals in my own town.
The staff that work there are super friendly, the food is great and is served in a timely manner, always arriving hot. Always check or ask for their daily specials, there has been some first time arrangements that I have never had before and were excellent.
Glorijane wrote previously about there nachos, if you run out, don't be shy to ask for more.

just had dinner at the newly opened La Siesta IN PEABODY, MA. there is not yet a listing on trip advisor but i just had to share a review anyhow. it is the same delicious really authentic mexican food that one gets at the winthrop location. but parking is much more convenient, and the restaurant feels somehow less crowded with plenty of space between booths and tables. the menu is pretty much the same and the food well prepared - excellent wait staff - food beautifully presented. the music is the same generic music but not too terribly intrusive. an easy place to grab a quick meal.

We went for lunch with two kiddos. Seems like a family run business. Food came out lightning fast. Wish there were tamales on the menu maybe there were and I just couldn't find them. Server was pleasant and easy on the eyes. Nachos and salsa were tasty wish we were offered another basket since the munchkin ate one of then all by her self. And they were very accomodating. Pretty decent place to eat some Mexican cuisine.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants has opened a second location at 3 Main St in Peabody, MA. It did not disappoint! The new location is wonderful as is the food and service. The decor and background music are contemporary and colorful with lovely lighting. There is a large central bar that uses the original bank vault as a backdrop.
Our party of seven had to wait about 30 mins to be seated, not bad for a Friday night. We were told that they are not accepting reservations at this time, although the Winthrop location does. Our party enjoyed the Margaritas, chicken and shrimp fajitas, chicken poblano, enchiladas and the chicken special.

Have eaten here several times, and each selection I've chosen has been excellent. The staff is very knowledgeable, drinks are great, and service is fast, but they don't hurry you out. We ate there on a busy Saturday night, and did not feel rushed at all. The Quesadillas (especially the chicken) is very good and comes with guacamole, delicious home made salsa, and sour cream. The chips and salsa are also both homemade. You can't go wrong

We've been here several times, the food is adequate, but we feel rushed when we are there. Drinks are OK, a little pricey.

As a Texan I was amazed at how good the Mexican food was at La Siesta. Beef taquitos covered in fresh cabbage for an appetizer accompanied with a specialty margarita was the perfect start. The Chicken Poblano was delicious, not spicy, and served with perfectly seasoned rice.
