We were staying at the hotel next door which is owned by the same wonderful couple who are either always in the hotel or pub! With our stay a four course meal was included, we enjoyed a great candle light table with two wing backed chairs by the window making us feel like we were alone on this busy night.... More

We can't wait to return to the Pub, excellent service & ambiance. My boys had so much fun hanging in the high back chairs enjoying the delicious chicken! My husband and I loved the lobster roll. The boys then went over to enjoy playing some games while we got to enjoy a beverage together. Wonderful evening at the '6 House... More

Our family normally isn't a huge fan of pub food, but this is no ordinary pub. Don't be fooled by the name ... The '6 House Pub offers a wide variety of tasty meals worthy of top notch restaurants. And the relaxed atmosphere will never give you the feeling of being in a stuffy restaurant. Whether you're just looking for... More

We were staying across the street and this place was convenient. We had a nice dinner, nothing too special. We all enjoyed our food, but we had expected a better beer selection of local craft beers.

I read the reviews and am absolutely flabbergasted after eating lunch there today. Is everyone nose blind (smells like pee and musty) and dirt blind? Everything is filthy, petrified food chunks on the window sills... I have never been in a more filthy restaurant. The floors were vile, the oriental rugs placed individually under tables were so grossly dirty that they... More

Dinner visit. The food was very good although the restaurant needs some care and upgrades. Service was pleasant but slow, especially given the small numbers of diners.

This place was recommended by friends that had eaten there about a year or so ago so we decided that since we were in the area we would try it. I assume that they must have changed Chefs. I cook for a family every night of the week so I am not overly critical when I eat out. I am... More

Happened on this place while out for a weekend ride and was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable we found the '6 House Pub. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the countryside and a perfect place to dine al fresco. If you like spicy bloody mary's, this is the place. I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed a very fresh caesar salad... More

We have been visiting the 6 House since our first date fifty years ago. The owners and menu may have changed but the wonderful ambiance remains the same and we love it. We like to sit at the bar if possible. It's cozy and very relaxed. The bartender is great and she really knows her stuff. This time we had... More

This old-fashioned inn has a large dining room with old décor and usually even older patrons. Food is pure comfort. Spaghetti sauces are good (although the past itself is bland). Daily specials always hit the mark, with seafood especially good. As you would expect, there is pub food galore. Burgers are well prepared with the bison burger reigning. Good selection... More
