Mezze does a three-course, fixed-price dinner, which was great, as we found numerous options in each of the courses that appealed to us. The atmosphere and food presentation is definitely upscale, but not fussy or pretentious. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and you could...tell the chef had taken great care to select fresh ingredients and think about blending and flavor profiles for each dish. We really enjoyed our meals and would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a great night out with amazing food.More

Maddie the hostess was welcoming, professional, and helpful in finding just the right table. Rachel our waitress was equally accommodating, capable, and helpful, The food is definitely in the "dining" category and the $52 per person price for three courses was reasonable given the quality...of the service and of the food.More

The brief description I had read said farm to table bar and bistro and casual dress. Should have said upscale farm to table restaurant with fixed price menu and business casual dress. We felt underdressed. Seemed very formal. Gave me a coat check for my...jacket. Staff very highly professional, and nice but almost overbearing. Food was too complex for my taste, seemed like a lot of stuff in everything. I got pork tenderloin dish which I couldn't eat as the pork was pink. My companion ate it. I got it also for the brussels and mushrooms which I love, but they were drowned in brown gravy. My companion's bolognese sauce with pasta was very good but too rich. Desserts were yummy. Appetizers were good. Price was reasonable for 3 course dinner. Just not a good fit for me.More

We ate outdoors, which on a cool night was very comfortable thanks to the heaters. We liked everything about Mezze: The food was great, and the service and the patio setting were too. Mezze was offering a prix fixe menu on the night we dined,...and it was quite reasonably priced, particularly given the high quality of the food.More

Way overpriced and pretentious for what you get. Tries to pass itself off as a foodie, farm to table destination but much better food can be found in the Berkshires for better prices. Food portions small. I had the bolognese, which was just okay. My...wife had the chicken dish, which was nothing special. The desserts were poor. Do not waste your money here.More

I grew up in the South, and while I don’t love fried foods, I do love fresh farm to table with many flavors introduced creatively. What an amazing treat to eat at Mezze! For my appetizer, I enjoyed a cucumber and strawberry salad with feta...and a creamy citrus dressing. For my entree, I enjoyed locally sourced chicken with a homemade bbq glaze, black-eyed peas, and a pickled slaw with peppers and green tomatoes. Lastly, a s’mores dessert with dark chocolate mousse, toasted marshmallow and graham cracker crumble. I could have been in my grandmother’s kitchen:). Try a specialty cocktail if you are inclined- I had a local vodka with fresh lemon and basil.More

food and service were both wonderful. . . . the halibut, the hangar steak and the local lettuce salad were all very well prepared. and the local gin (Ethereal) made a great martini.

3 course meal at a fixed price. Portions were smaller than expected Both first courses were great; octopus was very tasty and rigatoni pesto was great Main entrees : halibut was crispy and flavorful while the chicken and risotto was served not as hot as...expected. Flavor was good but a little warmer would help it tremendously. Desert was cappuccino sundae- 2 smaller scopes of ice cream with whipped cream and nice toppings. Not a sundae size . Was celebrating a birthday but no real recognition of it. Wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. Restaurant was very busy for a Sunday. Outdoor dining was available. Bar area was attractive and cocktail were very goodMore

Outstanding fresh food. I made a reservation for four people outside. We didn’t have to wait - it was ready and off to the side. Being away from the other tables we expected slow service. Thankfully that wasn’t the case. The food was delicious (I...don’t recommend getting sorbet as a dessert - everything else was better). The cocktails were strong but good. Definitely will be back the next time I’m in the Berkshires.More

It was our first time at Mezze, and we based our choice on the many good reviews. The pea salad was good and imaginative, but it was downhill from there. The kale and fennel caesar salad was over salted. My chicken "confit" was basically chicken...cacciatore in a very light tomato based sauce, again very over salted to the point that I couldn't eat the greens on which the chicken was placed. My husband's heritage pork and beef bolognese was, you guessed it, also over salted, and it was nothing like the hours-long, multistep bolognese he was expecting. Even the olive oil for bread dipping had salt in it. The strawberry crisp was good, but pretty ordinary. The plus side was the lovely setting and the indoor dining area. Servers were polite, pleasant, well-trained and prompt.More

The food was phenomenal! It was a fixed-price menu at $54 per person for the 3-courses. The grilled Octopus appetizer was perfectly prepared, soft yet fully cooked with light seasoning. They should consider making that an entrée. The Steelhead trout was absolutely fantastic, as was...the chicken. The person who ordered the chicken was hesitant to order something that can be prepared at home, but this was the best chicken ever tasted. Desserts were equally fantastic. There is ample parking in two different lots (it's a country scene). If you drive beyond the first lot, the driveway takes you up to the top lot near the entrance. I chose to park below, and we walked up a nice set of stairs alongside a picturesque pond.More

My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with dinner at this restaurant. They fit us into an earlier time slot than could obtain on Open Table and the meal was wonderful! Very much enjoyed and the service is also fantastic.

I don't know about proximity to the theater. We were both wearing jeans; the deck is completely casual. It appeared that the inside is business casual, as well, e.g., no swim cover-ups, tank tops, et al.
