We come here every year and were happy to see that the quality is still top notch. The chef is creative and uses the freshest ingridients. Social distancing protocols are in place and we had a very nice time dining outside on their deck. They also have a picnic table area where you pre-order, pick it up and can dine outside there or take it home. You don't need a reservation for that. It is our favorite restaurant in the whole area.

Enjoyed a terrific meal here. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food prepared very well and extremely tasty. We sat on the porch among the lights and heaters and really had a great experience. Would dine there again for sure.

The food was phenomenal! It was a fixed-price menu at $54 per person for the 3-courses. The grilled Octopus appetizer was perfectly prepared, soft yet fully cooked with light seasoning. They should consider making that an entrée. The Steelhead trout was absolutely fantastic, as was the chicken. The person who ordered the chicken was hesitant to order something that can be prepared at home, but this was the best chicken ever tasted. Desserts were equally fantastic. There is ample parking in two different lots (it's a country scene). If you drive beyond the first lot, the driveway takes you up to the top lot near the entrance. I chose to park below, and we walked up a nice set of stairs alongside a picturesque pond.

It was our first time at Mezze, and we based our choice on the many good reviews. The pea salad was good and imaginative, but it was downhill from there. The kale and fennel caesar salad was over salted. My chicken "confit" was basically chicken cacciatore in a very light tomato based sauce, again very over salted to the point that I couldn't eat the greens on which the chicken was placed. My husband's heritage pork and beef bolognese was, you guessed it, also over salted, and it was nothing like the hours-long, multistep bolognese he was expecting. Even the olive oil for bread dipping had salt in it. The strawberry crisp was good, but pretty ordinary. The plus side was the lovely setting and the indoor dining area. Servers were polite, pleasant, well-trained and prompt.

3 course meal at a fixed price.
Portions were smaller than expected
Both first courses were great; octopus was very tasty and rigatoni pesto was great
Main entrees : halibut was crispy and flavorful while the chicken and risotto was served not as hot as expected. Flavor was good but a little warmer would help it tremendously.
Desert was cappuccino sundae- 2 smaller scopes of ice cream with whipped cream and nice toppings. Not a sundae size .
Was celebrating a birthday but no real recognition of it.
Wait staff was very pleasant and attentive.
Restaurant was very busy for a Sunday. Outdoor dining was available.
Bar area was attractive and cocktail were very good

The setting was really lovely, with porch seating under heatlamps. Felt almost like a normal dining experience during COVID, which is super appreciated. I feel like my expectations were too high, and while there wasn't really anything wrong, I felt like the food was just okay. The portions are incredibly healthy though. My kale and fennel salad was ridiculously good, and filling. Then came the short ribs, which should have been more tender, but had good flavor. It was served with fairly uninteresting mashed potatoes and jus. And the apple crisp was nothing more, nothing less. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, just not impressed. Service was excellent though.

We ate outdoors, which on a cool night was very comfortable thanks to the heaters. We liked everything about Mezze: The food was great, and the service and the patio setting were too. Mezze was offering a prix fixe menu on the night we dined, and it was quite reasonably priced, particularly given the high quality of the food.

Mezze is located in a well updated old house so has a relaxed, homey and inviting atmosphere. They offer a 3 course fixed price dinner which is worth every penny. The Mellon soup and the tomato-watermelon salad were beautifully presented with interesting, subtle flavors. The stripped bass was paired with corn and wild mushrooms. The peaches and cream were heavenly, as was the oat milk chocolate ice cream with frozen raspberries. Jen was an exceptional wait person. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

The food at Mezze is superb but the service lacks polish. Nothing dreadful but at these prices small things matter. We arrived to find nobody to greet us. After a few minutes, a staff member arrived and didn’t apologize for keeping us waiting. We asked in advance for drinks to come with our main course and had to wait while the waitress went to the bar while our food went cold.
Basically it seems the kitchen is excellent but the restaurant needs someone to take charge of the front of house.

Mezze Bistro is too pretentious for its own good. I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant. I have eaten at many high end, nice restaurants, but this is not one of them. I went to the restaurant for dinner with friends on my birthday. I ordered steak as did one of my companions. I ordered a medium cooked steak and my companion ordered a rare steak. My steak was completely overcooked except one bite in the middle. I could not eat my steak. Wait staff gave me a hard time about how the steak was cooked but the restaurant discounted the bill. My companion's steak was anything but rare but at his insistence, they cooked a new steak for him. The wait staff was standoffish. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Dining in the Berkshires is always a challenge. The restaurants face all kind of problems and a limited population for white tablecloth dining. Mezze Bistro and Bar is a very pleasant surprise. Nice setting, beautiful entry way, handsome dining rooms and even a terrace. It’s a price fixed 3 course dinner for $60 and worth it. Lovely bread and olive oil. Great appetizers. I had the melon and tomato salad, my wife the chilled melon soup. Both excellent. For mains the fish in a Moroccan chick pea stew which was very flavorful and not tilapia ! I splurged on the ribeye which was a nice sized portion prepared perfectly, crispy new potato’s which were nice and crunchy and fresh corn in a corn cake. Desserts were equally excellent. My wife had the lemon olive oil cake which was quite tasty especially with the vanilla ice cream. I’m a chocoholic and the milk chocolate pudding was nicely prepared, not as dense as I like but really excellent. Our fine server, Joy made a great wine recommendation. What is really nice is that they let you bring the unfinished wine home in a sealed plastic bag so you don’t feel obligated to finish the bottle there. The wine list is expansive and the prices are very reasonable, although why the people of Massachusetts don’t get the law changed so you can bring your own wine into a restaurant is beyond me. I guess a remnant of their Blue Laws.
We dined at the original Mezze years ago. I’m glad they are still around and hope that we get back soon.

Four of us (my wife and I, two adult daughters) had a very nice experience. The spiced popcorn appetizer was fun, and the small plate selection, though limited, was good. I had excellent potato and leek soup (the add-ins of creme fraiche and crunchy croutons and bacon made this special), and heritage pork meatballs (good, but no special attributes). Both my daughters had pasta 'cacio e pepe', which was also good though not quite like the Roman original (we were a bit baffled by the broth in the bottom of the bowl). One had a very fresh and tasty salad, the other enjoyed her single smash burger. My wife had very good salmon. Interesting and tasty food, good service, nice lively atmosphere - we'd go back and further explore this interesting menu.

Mezze does a three-course, fixed-price dinner, which was great, as we found numerous options in each of the courses that appealed to us. The atmosphere and food presentation is definitely upscale, but not fussy or pretentious. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and you could tell the chef had taken great care to select fresh ingredients and think about blending and flavor profiles for each dish. We really enjoyed our meals and would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a great night out with amazing food.

The brief description I had read said farm to table bar and bistro and casual dress. Should have said upscale farm to table restaurant with fixed price menu and business casual dress. We felt underdressed. Seemed very formal. Gave me a coat check for my jacket. Staff very highly professional, and nice but almost overbearing. Food was too complex for my taste, seemed like a lot of stuff in everything. I got pork tenderloin dish which I couldn't eat as the pork was pink. My companion ate it. I got it also for the brussels and mushrooms which I love, but they were drowned in brown gravy. My companion's bolognese sauce with pasta was very good but too rich. Desserts were yummy. Appetizers were good. Price was reasonable for 3 course dinner. Just not a good fit for me.

Way overpriced and pretentious for what you get. Tries to pass itself off as a foodie, farm to table destination but much better food can be found in the Berkshires for better prices. Food portions small. I had the bolognese, which was just okay. My wife had the chicken dish, which was nothing special. The desserts were poor. Do not waste your money here.
