From other reviews, I expected the menu to be more about choosing hops (beer) or vines (wine). As best I could tell, this was not the case and I did not find their beer or wine list particularly impressive. I did enjoy my cocktail. The food was average for the fairly high prices, and our waiter was not particularly friendly.... More

Mediocre New American at fine dining prices. These people just don't know how to run a restaurant. (They serve oysters all summer long. They are disgusting!) Been going there for years, and each time someone says, "Let's meet at Hops.", I know that it is only because of the location. The food is hit or miss. It can be good,... More

We are here after rehearsal for a friends wedding. The food was phenomenal and we are foodies. The wine and drink selection is really appropriate and tasteful as well. Great time. Great food.

We really enjoyed eating here. The food was tasty and thoughtfully prepared, the service was attentive and flexible, and the atmosphere was highly conducive to relaxed conversation among our large group, some of whom were meeting each other for the first time. Especially accommodating to the small child in our party. Overall, a very positive experience which we would repeat... More

Not a bad place to eat or drink, but it is not quite as good as it appears it would like to be. A large selection of beers on tap and most of them are just not good beer, in my humble opinion. To many gadgety micro brews like bourbon or maple flavored. If I wanted maple syrup tasting beer... More

I gave a review some time ago and the review was not good. However with a new chef things change and it certainly did here. I recently went with friends who wanted to go there to try the new chef and I was very much impressed. The food was delicious. Service pretty good. I have actually sent many people there... More

Our diner was hit and miss. The blue cheese toast appetizer was delicious. The bacon mac n cheese not so good. The cheese was running and grainy. And the muscles were just ok. If you decide to sit outside on the lovely garden patio make sure to wear your bug replacement.

They have a wide range of wines, beers and small plates in addition to a glorious, full menu. The teeny taste of delicious ice cream was brilliant and I left not feeling guilty over the fries.

We had dinner in the beer garden at sunset and beyond, enjoying the glow from the fire-pit. Our server was eager to point out the locally sourced items on the menu. All selections were good; we particularly enjoyed the roasted cauliflower and the lemon/creme fraiche donut dessert.
