We had a great lunch with quick friendly service and good food at very reasonable prices. Sometimes the music inside gets loud but we enjoyed eating outside. The Salmon BLT was a definite recommendation as was fish and chips (the small was ample), and custom burgers. Beers and ales are plentiful.

Can here before a performance at the Williamstown Playhouse. We wanted something not too heavy before the theater and this place was perfect. It was a beautiful evening so we sat out on their big patio area. The inside is very dark and pub like so the patio was a much better choice. We started with a hummus appetizer that... More

We sat outside on a breezy evening in between shows at the theatre, and enjoyed a good beet/goat cheese salad and a piece of crispy cod. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive. Nothing fancy, but very good.

Trying out the local pub on spring street for the first time this summer was a diaster! I went with a friend for a drink after a wonderful dinner across the street at Pera Bistro! We arrived at Purple Pub at 1020pm on a Thursday night with just a few patrons in the place. The "bartender" was glued to the... More

The menu selection was good - a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and appetizers. The food was fine, but didn't 'wow' like on other visits. Service was adequate (we were served what we ordered and asked if we wanted more to drink), but that's pretty much where service stopped. I've had better experiences here, hopefully it was just an... Had asked friends @ this pub in a friendly college town. 2 of us went in at 1030pm to an empty bar and asked if they were open.. To which 2 staff answered YES! We sat at the bar directly in front of the bartender for a solid 5 min as she typed away in her work computer doing something..?... More

I couldn't believe the number of healthy salads offered on the menu. Fresh and tasty. Friendly service.

It was a Saturday evening and every restaurant on the strip was packed. Somehow my traveling buddy found this pub on a side road behind the Mexican restaurant. It was well staffed, we were greeted and seated quickly. We let the waiter know we had tickets for a show in an hour. He expedited our order and out came two... More

Vegetarians, try the black bean burger. You won't be sorry. The service, however, was pretty poor. They have a very good beer selection, as well. It can be a bit loud, even during lunch.

This is an unassuming pub with a great atmosphere and delicious food. There is a full menu of beers available, which my husband ordered from. I had a very nice white wine. Our server was high energy, attentive, helpful -- but not intrusive. I ordered the "holy guacamole" panini, recommended by our server, and it was absolutely delicious. If you're... More

The Purple Pub has been the place to gather in Williamstown since 1973, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Whether you're looking for traditional pub food or delicious entrees, we have you covered. Patrons can drink and dine at the large mahogany bar or in the comfort of the semi-private dining room. Come watch the game on one of our large screen televisions or enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. Don't forget to try one of our 14 draft beers (we have bottled beer too), served in a frosted glass.
