Our small organization that had 100% attendance and everyone's spouses for an overfull belly, as always, despite my skipping lunch and bicycling in the afternoon. The Inn went from empty at 5pm to completely full very quickly on this Saturday night, December 3rd. Alexis took great care of us, and my Hunters cocktail with Cherry Whiskey made me feel the... After a day of golf at Northampton C.C. With the Safari Club, the Whatley Inn put on a smorg that was out of this world. The garlic rolls were the best I ever had, We had fish with lobster sauce, Chicken with a mushroom sauce, Roast beef, Strawberry Short Cake. And we went up for seconds.

This was our first time dining at the Whately Inn. First Impression was very nice. On a wet fall evening the entry to the Inn was decorated with nice fall flowers and we were promptly greeted by the hostess as we entered the building. The dining room is fairly large and had a comforting feel. The tables were all set... More

My husband and I chose the Whately Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a intimate table for two and a lovely waitress. While we both have favorites from the regular menu (and there is nothing regular about the food offered - everything we've tried has been excellent), they had a specials menu that put us in a quandary!... Went to dinner on Saturday night of Columbus Day weekend. Got a table for 2 at 5:30 pm with the restaurant very close to full. Seated immediately, and service came promptly. They offer dinner that comes with a salad, bread, appetizer, main entree, and desert. My wife had duck and I had veal parmesan. Rice came with the duck and... More

Whately Inn is practically legendary, and remains oh so popular among locals and out-of-towners alike, but we just didn't feel any real rustic old inn vibe at all. Just a busy and loud restaurant trying to do everything right the old fashioned way but only partially succeeding. Four of us had a reservation for the busy 7:00pm Saturday hour, made... More

Our cousin from Springfield took us here to celebrate a milestone birthday. Each entree was superb: Baked stuffed scrod, baked stuffed swordfish, prime rib. The portions were so enormous that our cousin took boxes of leftovers home. Even the side dishes were good. He raved about the au gratin potatoes, and he was right. Sometimes places like this coast on... More

Been talking about going here for years. Finally went last night. What a wonderful dining experience. At first the menu seemed pricey, but the entrée prices include complimentary appetizers, salad, the entrée, dessert and coffee and for such great food (including the complimentary cucumber salad and yummy rolls) it turned out to be a bargain. A good variety of dishes... More

Clean bathrooms, very cute rustic decor, the food was amazing! My waitress Carrie was very attentive along with the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend!
