We have had a house on the Cape for 16 years and never been to the Villa Roma. Friends of ours asked if we wanted to go to the Villa Roma for Saturday night dinner. We accepted and are glad we did. Had early reservations and were seated immediately upon arriving. No shortage of staff who were very attentive. Drink orders were taken and as soon as drinks arrived were were asked if we wanted to order appetizers. We asked for 5 minutes and that was no problem . throughout the night we were not rushed and allowed to relax. The wait staff allowed us to pace ourselves to order. The appetizer, Clams Casino was delicious as were the salads. The main dinner included a lasagna, Chicken piccata and two veal parmesans. All were good sized portions, well prepared and delicious. The restaurant is small and quant but this employee shortage facing other restaurants did not effect the Villa Roma. I observed at least 7 waitstaff employees who were attentive and helpful. Will go back.

My second time to the Cape and it wouldn't have been as incredible as the last without a dinner at Villa Roma. Lee and Doc will make sure the restaurant is spotless and hospitable, while Doug can rollout endless chicken parm that makes everyone drool. Servers like Molly and Kate are attentive with a smile, and bartender Jason knows every drink in the book! I'm not the type to frequent italian restaurants outside of Italy, but I have no problems disregarding my healthy eating and indulging in endless cheeses and creamy sauces here... plus the most legit and dreamy tiramisu on the planet. Oh and I finish it all off with a limoncello because that's how you do it after a fabulous Italian dinner! Last time I went for the clams casino, crab cake and shrimp scampi (without the pasta) and those were just the starters (yes I was sharing). It was all great but getting that shrimp was heavenly, that garlic white wine combo was perfect. Then I went for a special, swordfish with a side of linguini... the fish was so fresh, best I've had (and I'm from Florida) and pasta al dente molto bene! Add romantic ambiance with a cozy layout and moody lighting and you've got yourself a five-star dining must for anyone who comes to Harwich. Well done!

What a fantastic Italian restaurant in Cape Cod. VR looks like a place out of Goodfellas. Old world charm…so quaint. Every course we had was delicious. Best Calamari I’ve ever had. A remarkably fresh and delicious crab cake, and the sauce for the meatball/sausage appetizer was amazing. For our mains, the Linguine Vongole with Littlenecks was just fabulous. Light but spiced just right. My wife’s scampi had large, perfectly cooked shrimp on top of capellini. The scallop special that one of our relatives had was just wonderful. Then top it off with a delectable tiramisu and a 5 layer chocolate cake that was melt in your mouth. This will be a Must for all future Cape visits. Thanks Villa Roma! We WIll Be Back!!!

Happy to get a reservation indoors on a weekend night. Our AirB&B owner highly recommended Villa Roma. Disappointed there was not a larger seafood selection (being on the Cape) and the one seafood pasta dish on the specials was already sold out. Menu was pretty mainstream; nothing very unique. My daughter loved her Pasta Bolognese. The veal piccata was also very good with a nice piquant sauce and angel hair. Service was very good, but they should have come back to pour the wine, especially considering we bought a pretty expensive bottle.

This has to be hands down one of the best Italian Restaurants I have been to! We went twice during our 5 night stay in the Cape. Everything was delicious. They start you with their homemade warm loaf of bread and they have a great variety of dishes to choose from. Their Bolognese sauce with the meats was very hearty and good. My husband had the linguini with calms sauce. They have a large wine list. Save room for their delicious chocolate cake for desert! The calories are worth it!

We enjoyed our dinner with three couples one evening. We called for reservations which is recommended. The atmosphere was dimly lit and the staff friendly. We enjoyed veal and chicken parmesan, bruschetta, fettuccini alfredo, and sausage and peppers. The wine was wonderful and bread and butter was served as well. It was a fantastic dinner and I hope to return soon!

You will find delicious Italian food and drink at this unassuming West Harwich spot. We stumbled upon Villa Roma a few years ago and dining there has become the centerpiece of our trips ever since. My son dreams of their bolognese ragu, but all their sauces are excellent and the meat and fish cooked to perfection. The service is impeccable and they make a fantastic cocktail, too! These guys work really hard to make a wonderful dining experience. Even in the middle of a pandemic, the food and service were absolutely first class. Bravo, Villa Roma!

Villa Roma is an excellent choice for delicious Italian food. We dined here in July on vacation, and had to return for a post Labor Day visit! Their meatballs & “gravy” are absolutely mouth watering, and you’ll remember them long after your visit!!! Their wine list is excellent...try the Chianti Classico - it is a treat for your taste buds & pairs perfectly with the wonderful Italian dishes. 7 large shrimp topped the shrimp Scampi - grilled to perfection, tender & succulent! The warm bread was outstanding as was the Caesar salad my wife & I split! Our 2 wait staff, Sue & Emily, couldn’t have been more pleasant & accommodating! Finally, we enjoyed the nice outside dining with shade umbrellas in these crazy times. We’ll definitely be back! This is one of our favorite restaurants on the Cape!!!

Villa Roma is closed and taken over as a new restaurant. No question that the food was fabulous. My only issues is the acoustics. If you want to have your next table over spoil the atmosphere, is can easily be accomplished with patrons having a few too many drinks with no one telling them to keep their conversations to themselves. Totally spoiled our dinner out.

OK, I've loved Villa Roma for the 20 years it's been open. Wasn't sure if I wanted to try dine-in anywhere yet, but I am glad I did! They have spaced out the tables, the amazing staff is wearing masks and using hand sanitizer (among many other safety measures), and the food is as good as ever. If you are thinking about going out, give them a call. Or, order takeout. This is a small business worth your support.

Excellent excellent night. Honestly, the meal was great. I think that anything that you order would be wonderful as we had no complaints and the service was tremendous. We haven’t had such a great meal since the pandemic started would go back anytime. Restaurant was crowded, but not uncomfortable or noisy at any time.

If you are lucky enough to get a seat at The Villa Roma, you won’t be disappointed! The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service are all fantastic. We’ve been going here for years and it never disappoints. The bar area is our favorite place to sit. This is a place to go and try something different every time. The specials are terrific. Be sure to indulge in an after dinner drink and know you will leave full and probably with some leftovers. If you like Italian food, be sure to stop by Villa Roma! This is a great spot for a date nights or couples’ nights out!

Villa Roma in West Harwich is a Great Place for Dinner. We had the Veal Marsala and Fettuccine Alfredo, which were Great. The Cabernet Sauvignon was also very good.

My husband ordered crab cake appetizer, it was good but the sauce overtook the crab cake , I ordered the soup of the day white bean , very good ! Our main dishes were veal Marsala on top of angel hair dis was good but warm not hot , my dish was the Bolognese, also just warm not hot , pasta over cooked !
