Out of all the Asian style restaurants I have eaten at; this has to be the worse! They charge $3.00 for a water downed coke and $3.00 for each refill without telling you!! The food is not that great! Got a lunch special that was...$9.25 substituted the ribs for chicken fingers 3 of them they charged me an additional $5.00 for!! Over priced not that great tables are dirty and staff not friendly!!More

Good, typical American Chinese menu. Above average taste. Friendly service. White tablecloth, fabric napkins. Varied cocktails.

At best this is typical average American Chinese fare. can find better options up the road on Washington Street in Wellesley. Service also hectic and inattentive. Don't bother.

We had a vegetable dish that was very overcooked, in a flavorless sauce. The General Gao's chicken was very tough (hard to cut with a knife) and the sauce was too sweet and not spicy at all. The tempura vegetables were very oily, and some...pieces were starchy in the middle and rotten-tasting. Everything else was not very good, and not very flavorful. I suspect that many of the good reviews for this restaurant are fake. There is no way this is the best Chinese restaurant in Wellesley. CK Changhai and Jin's are much better.More

Went to the Wok for lunch in the beginning of December with old friends I used to work with. I have been there several times in the past, and as with the other times had a very good experience. The restaurant staff is very welcoming...and pleasant and always thank you when you leave. We all selected lunch special items from their menu. I had the beef and broccoli which includes fried rice, a choice of several types of soup, and spring roll or chicken wings. The food was very good and the portions seemed large. As always I left there very full. You usually get tea with your meal but this time, for some reason that did not happen. I highly recommend this restaurant for a lunchtime destination. Good friends and good food, what more could you ask for?More

Tried out this restaurant as our favorite had closed. They were not busy but yet the service was beyond slow. We got luncheon plates with an upcharge for dinner. The food was just okay. The meals did not come with our choice of soup Won...Ton so we ordered it and did not take the soup that came with the meal. It would have been nice if they reduced the price even by a $1. They sell other soups in a large size but not Won Ton. I thought I would go back due to it being close but on second thought I won't.More

We have been eating at the Wok for many years and were seriously disappointed when we ate there last week. The spareribs were fatty and chewy. The soups were bland and every dish tasted the same - even though we ordered a variety. We even...ordered a low sodium dish and that tasted saltier than all of the other dishes. The Mai Tai's were weak and had sour mix in them - yuck. It took 4 requests to get served white rice. It finally came when we were almost finished. That is odd for a Chinese restaurant! We have great family meals here in the past, so I hope this was just an aberration, but the service was poor and the food totally not up to par.More
