We were in staying in Wareham to visit Thomas Land for the weekend. I looked at Triadvisor for a restaurant in the area. Ella's was #1 and now we know why. Excellent. Don't be afraid to order the grilled octopus. It was great. The salmon and soup also excellent. The linguini and clam sauce wasn't our favorite but that may... More

Our favorite place to go! Went recently, the pork belly appetizer and Maple Brook Farm burrata were amazing. Clams and linguine great but I was a bit disappointed in the very much hyped crispy duck breast, I really hate to say this but it was rubbery and tough, not crispy at all, the turnip purée was fantastic but the duck... Walking in to Ella's, my nose was greeted by pleasing aromas and looking around the place it was about 3/4 full. I took a seat at the bar, as I was dining alone, and ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc as I had come to order some linguini and clam sauce. The wine was decent, I can't remember which one... More

I ordered 3 pizzas to take out. I had a $50 gift certificate. The bill was $47. I live in the Boston area and if a restaurant served pizza that small for that price they would be out of business!

Yes their pizza has gotten smaller, and every time I get a new favorite they change the menu. But even so when I eat pizza at any of my other favorites it is not as good as here. Just had the house made sausage pizza last night, it was so good I may have a new favorite. This place also... More

Accomplished chef with very good food. I wish they had better parking as it is a tough spot to get in and out of.

We frequent this restaurant often as it is half way between us and our good friends. The atmosphere is wonderful! Always full of people having a good time. The staff is awesome and explains all menu items, giving suggestions. The food is amazing! I've never had a bad meal. Love this place!

This is a relatively small place, but it has interesting and delectable fare, predominantly Italian... but not exclusively. I had a special soup which was corn and pablano peppers.. excellent. As a table, we also had calamari and shrimp appetizers, salads and interesting pizzas.. eggplant and fresh tomatoes, fig and prusciutto. All very good. We found their phone message confusing.... I have just enjoyed my first dinner in Cape Cod at this wonderful restaurant. It'll be hard for others to compete! I had the special daily salad which was crisp and fresh with pistachios and apricots with soft goat's cheese. I then had the best spiced salmon steam with crunchy fresh vegetables. Delicious sweet flavoured salmon, perfectly cooked. The dessert... More
