I visit this location a lot...for lunch and dinner. However, more for lunch as they have great lunch specials. I love the few tables right in the front window facing Moody Street. Had delicious sashimi lunch and spider roll recently. Both were fresh and very...good. The host is also always quiet friendly and efficient.More

Are they Japanese, Chinese or Korean. Wait they’re all of them in a way. A Japanese restaurant run by a Korean with Chinese sushi chefs. Some may say it’s great “they are multi cultural” but I say they are a jack of all and a...master of none. Food - 2 The cooked food was an “easy bake oven” for adults. Most every dish we had tasted as though they were pre-made/microwave/frozen food. This led to fear of their quality and care so sushi was not ordered. It is odd that we get free Korean apps before a Japanese meal. Service - 3 The lady seeming to be the owner was very cordial and prompt. Atmosphere - 2 Like their theme, I was confused. Were we at a restaurant or a nice sports bar? Will not return. Food was just too disappointing even though the prices were reasonable. Lastly, the owner should just stick to Korean food and be confident with that.More

There are dozens of sushi restaurants boasting how many ways to make a maki. For me, the true test comes to the harder to source and more delicate seafood. My husband travels to Japan for business and returns exclaiming how delicious Uni can be. I've...sampled the orange globes, and each time I am disappointed with the taste of old beach tidal pool. After eating at Ponzu, I thought I would give it one more try, as this dish became my litmus test for freshness. OMG. Delicious. Soooo, that's why Uni is so cherished. The rest of their sushi is beautifully made and incredibly tasty. Their newly revised menu has about 20 maki styles, and knowing Ponzu, I will just have to work my way through the list. I'm skipping the cream cheese tho. Worth several trips.More

Everything about our meal was much better than expected. What this restaurant lacks in appearance, it more than makes up with its absolutely terrific food and tremendous quick, attentive and friendly service. The menu offers a variety of Asian fare, with emphasis on Korean delights....Whether the diner is a meat eater or a vegetarian, you will find something you like on the menu. All of our meals were excellently prepared, well presented on the plate/bowl, and extremely tasty. Our meals came with a pleasing miso soup, and little dishes containing sashimi, beans, watercress, and sesame topped broccoli. For main courses, our party ordered and enjoyed bulkogi, bim-bim-bop, and a salmon plate. Everyone loved the food. We certainty will return.More

Ate here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Had miso soup, sashimi regular, and Bi Bim Bop. Plus, they were offering a special of toro which was so yummy. All of our food was delicious and well prepared. It was very reasonable too. Had great...service and already looking forward to going back for our next visit. Sushi quality was excellent!More

from what seemed like a small unassuming restaurant among the many on Moody Street. Service and food were very good, with an attentive staff that ensured all needs were met. We had a mix of sushi and Korean dishes, (bi bim bop) that were plated...beautifully, fresh and delicious. This is so far the best sushi I've had in the Waltham area.More

This place is absolutely wonderful - I am a huge sushi lover, and this place is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to. The fish is always so fresh. The salmon sashimi is to die for. For their specialty...roles, they keep it a bit more simple, and they offer some very creative sushi appetizers! I have quickly become a regular, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming to me when I stop in. I never feel like I'm being rushed, and everyone goes out of their way to make sure that I'm taken care of.More

Quality sushi at reasonable prices. Great service fresh fish and great atmosphere. I dine here consistently cause the experience is never disappointing. Proves you don't have to go to Boston to get quality sushi in a chic environment.

Went with family who live in the area. My first visit. They usually order sushi but tonight we sampled a variety of Korean dishes. The scallion pancake is huge for an appetizer. Miso soup very good. Bibimbop was perhaps to sizzling; the rice got burnt. Dishes...I couldn't name were tasty. Chef and several of the waitstaff took time to explain the dishes and were clearly quite happy at the clean plates. Like anything else on Moody Street parking is a problem.More
