My family and I have been going to the Chateau for years for lunch and dinner. The food is always good, the service is helpful, and we love the endless scali bread! We typically order the entrees, so have only had the pizza once - it was good. We especially enjoy the lasagna, chicken parm, eggplant parm, and the chicken... More

We have been frequent guest at the Chateau for many years. Always consistent, always good. We have had lunches and dinners ranging from salads, to Italian and surprisingly the turkey dinner and on st pats day, corned beef and cabbage. Excellent! Nice place to relax. Try the bar side if it is just the two of you.

This family restaurant has been around for years and that's not a surprise. Their spaghetti with meat balls and their toasted ravioli are to die for. The staff is always friendly and efficient. For the buck, you can't do better.

When we lived in Belmont in the 60s and 70s we often came here. It's been a while since then and apparently both we and the restaurant have changed. One of the things we looked for was the bread; it does not taste as good as it used to. The salads were very good and there was a large choice... More

I liked this place. Given its huge size and extensive menu, my recommendation is to stick to the traditional food (pasts, lasagna, checked parm, etc) and you won't be disappointed. This is is a 'one size fits all' restaurant. Great for families & all but not a date. At the same time, they have good drinks and beer for the... More

We've been at the Chateau several times, and we love it. The food tastes like home cooking. The portion sizes are large, and even though I have a very large appetite, I've always brought leftovers home with me from the Chateau. The bread baskets are huge also, and their bread is absolutely fantastic. Service is also very good; friendly and... More

The Chateau is one of the most consistently delicious family restaurants in the area. Do not expect gourmet, exotic dishes. Rather, the menu is constant, changes somewhat for seasonal specials, and is well served and delivered to your table. Kids are welcome ... kids menu is well received by the youngsters. The bar area is somewhat noisy, especially during "game-time."... More

This place has lines out the door. We were here for a family function. The service was mediocre and I found the food borderline terrible. The chicken parmigiana with ravioli was oily and disgusting. Not with the stop!!

Ordered the Turkey Tips with Rice Family To-Go Dinner and a chopped Salad. Both were noted for four people. It would probably feed 6 people easily. It was a great time saver and healthy choice. Perfect idea to pick up something healthy and meet family to dine with Mom without anyone cooking and cleaning up ! Thanks for break Chateau.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in New England. At one time it was the highest volume restaurant in the country. If you love Italian food it is the place to go but excel's Seafood and steaks. I have been going to this restaurant since I was a little kid and have never had a bad meal... More
