Just an average authentic Central American restaurant. Food was decent, staff was average but price was awesome. Had a seafood soup that was delicious and only paid $12 for it. Would eat there again.

The best most authentic Guatemalan/salvadorin food you can get outside Central America. Being born in Guatemala I know what good Guatemalan food tastes like.

My partner and I visited Mi Tierra for the first time on Labor Day evening. It wasn't very busy, as it seemed like a nice place, and we were seated right away. There were a lot of choices on the menu, and we weren't sure what we wanted for our entrées, but we knew what we wanted for our appetizer.... More

The food is delicious. We had pupusas, homemade guacamole, carne asada, and black beans/rice/plantains. The service could have been friendlier and more organized but overall a great meal from the food standpoint.

Delicious and affordable food. Small family-run restaurant. Not fancy. This is an unusual Salvadoran restaurant in that food without meat is available for vegetarians, and the food is good. I prefer the plate with two guacamole tostadas, rice, beans and plantain. Hell, even the rice tastes good! Friends have tried the pupusas, the camarones enchiladas and the carne adobada y... More

Hands down, the best ceviche and flan! They make a dish with blended black beans and white rice, very delicious, order it with the carne asada!!!

Great, authentic Salvadoran food and I love those fried plantains. In fact, we went twice over our 3 day weekend in town.

So El Salvadorian food is very different than Mexican food. Many of the dishes have the same name but they are not the same in any way. The flavoring is much much more interesting. I have eaten there a bunch of time for dinner, lunch, and breakfast. They have palm which is great. Never had it anywhere else like the... More

Went here with friends for the first time. Very casual atmosphere, good service, good food. Pretty good variety for both meat and fish eaters. Reasonable prices. Try the plantain appetizer.

This restaurant has some of the latin food I have ever tasted. This was the first Guatemalen restaurant I had ever eaten at. I was unsure if I would like it but wanted to try something authentic. When you walk in the smells are incredible. Everyone was speaking spanish and Telemundo was playing soccor on the televisions. The food was... More
