Solea offers diners a taste of the culinary heritage of Spain right in the heart of Moody Street. Since opening our doors in 2001, we’ve made it our mission to give the Greater Boston Area a reason to look forward to sunset every day of the week. We strive for authenticity - especially when it comes to sourcing our ingredients and enhancing our menu. Whether you’re coming to the bar to celebrate over a pitcher of our famous Berry Sangria, or dining in to share a few small plates after work, Solea promises a culturally authentic experience you can’t find anywhere but in Spain itself.
First time going to the restaurant even having lived 4-mins away. A friend and I decided to check it out for dinner. I made the reservation and when I walked in, the host showed me to my table where my friend was already waiting for...More
While at the farmer’s market, we decided to eat lunch here. I’m guessing Solea is more of a dinner place, but there is no bad time for tapas. And these were quite good. The menu has the whole variety and then some. You cannot make...More

We happened upon Solea when it was still new and are so happy it has endured. If you’re lucky enough ever to have been to Spain, Solea will remind you of that. The food is delicious, although, as with many other restaurants, the prices seem...More
It is a traditional tapas restaurant on busy Moody Street. Parking is not always easy. The restaurant is not quiet but it has a fun feel to it which works well with a great variety of small bites and excellent drinks.
After a team-building event, my office dined at Solea. The food was excellent; flavorful without being over the top, well-presented, and in quantity. The sangrias were right on target for some post-work relaxation. I plan on going again.
