I heard that this place was bought by new owners or has new management from the previous restaurant that was here that was pretty run down. I went for some sushi after worked and they have done a great job here. Actually was the best Naruto roll I've ever had! The people working were very attentive and pleasant. Will definitely come back!

"Best" Chinese Restaurant in the area

We love Eastern Pearl in Walpole. Have been regulars for many years. The food is fabulous and Sandy is very entertaining at the bar. The food is by far the best around and the service is wonderful. We are there 1 to 3 times per week for dinner or just cocktails with friends. The regulars are all local and interactive....such a fun place to unwind! Sports are always on and music is often playing as well as Keno......what more can you ask for! You have to give it a try!

dish water soup broth

I got wonton soup for lunch yesterday that tasted like dish water would. The wontons fell apart like they had been soaking for days... not kidding it was gross. I have been here before and had no complaints other than they take forever to answer the phone in a timely fashion. No one is ever available for a quick pick up. You always have go to the bar for help. I will not go back. I know it was only $10.00 but I had to throw the whole thing away. I was at work going back was not an option. Soup eaters beware.

Really good food, very reasonable

We have ordered take out from Eastern Pearl 2 in the last 2 months and have been very satisfied with the food and service. The flavors are excellent and the food is always cooked to our liking. The prices are more reasonable than other similar restaurants in the area. Service is always courteous and prompt. I would totally recommend this place and we will be returning.

This is easily the best Asian cuisine I've ever eaten. You wouldn't know it from the outside, but Eastern Pearl is a real gem.

Bad custoner service

I would give this place a zero for customer service if I could. The last 3 times I have ordered take out they have forgotten something on the order. First it was the extra gravy for egg foo young, next it was the chow mein noodles and today it was the hot and sour soup that comes with the lunch plates. When I called, the person answering the phone argued with me saying that I did not order the soup which I darn well know I did because it is the favorite part of the meal for us. He insisted I did not order the soup. When I read back my order to him verbatim, he again said I did not order soup. No offer to give me soup if I came back or anything. All I got was a rude person refusing to admit he made a mistake. I should add that I have been going there every 2-3 weeks since they opened, so for a returning customer to be treated in this fashion is unacceptable. I will not go back to this restaurant again, if that is how they treat their customers.
