This Sun, I took my mother and daughter for tea (high tea). Fancy That is adorable and immaculate. The decor is delightful. The hosts are a husband and wife team. They are friendly and personable without being obtrusive. The food is fantastic. I think everything is homemade -- or at least it tastes like it is. We enjoyed everything. The... More

This was my 3rd experience at a tea house & although very charming, not quite as impressive as my first two experiences at other places. I was visiting from out of state & wanted to have some quiet, "girl time" with my aunts. Fancy That was the perfect place. The hostess was very welcoming & we loved the warm, cozy... More

Dear ewright2013: I am truly saddened to learn that your experience was only 3 stars. Everything I do here is a labor of love, and I truly care about your experience. For a variety of reasons, safety being one of them, I decided when I opened in 2013 that I would not use tea lights at Fancy That (which is... More

I am a high tea fan, even multiple times in London & I absolutely love this place! Today was my third visit and quality in service, food & tea selection is almost unmatched. The setting is nice & intimate, & they abide the maxim there is no rushing high tea. Lovely settings & the menu slightly changes every month, reflecting... More

I'm so glad we took the time to drive down to Fancy That. It's a really adorable little place, sort of in the middle of nowhere, but worth the trip. Fancy That is so well-appointed with all things Victorian, Edwardian, and tea-related. We had fun just walking around and taking in all the cute gift items and antiques. Our tea... More

Great place for a romantic lunch. They serve wonderful selection of teas and a lot of sandwiches and pastries, included with the price of the tea. Make sure you dress up and do not come in full: it would be sad not to be able to enjoy the tea together with the food.

This is a tea place. It is great for conversation with your best friend. Victorian style decoration and delicious tea, sandwiches, scones and muffins. Fancy That, is for that special occasion. Perhaps for that group of friends to celebrate something special. Small but cozy place.

Two friends and I happened upon Fancy That after holiday shopping. They require reservations, but by happy coincidence, they had a cancellation, so we sat down for an enjoyable afternoon of high tea. The atmosphere is very pink and Victorian, which set the mood nicely. We each got our own pot of tea (complete with cozy, which kept the tea... More
