Totally agree with previous reviewer ( Silvamine)... "The lunch buffet is a treat here. Lots of vegetarian offerings together with a good selection of condiments is always welcome. If there is any suggestion it might be good if there was at least one chicken curry...spiced up to hot/vindaloo for those who wish that. Otherwise a great spot for quality authentic indian at a very reasonable price. Free easy parking is across the street." Price of buffet $12.....Bread was hot from the oven. Desserts offered were different ( for me) and very very tasty. Water was regularly refilled.... I will be back !!More

My husband wanted Indian and a quick google search turned up Maya Indian Grill. Was so glad we gave it a try, the good was delicious. We had the veggie Samosa to start and they also served some sort of chip, I forget it’s name....Served with a green and brown sauce. Loved the brown one. We both order Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan. Portion size was great and food was amazing. We’ll be back!More

Went for the lunch buffet and was very pleased. Lots of options, closely monitored by staff to ensure availability of items and freshness of items. Staff offered guidance for selections I was unsure of. Great meal that was very reasonably priced.

have been here a couple of times, food was pretty good, not a big selection for a buffet.service is fairly slow so it is a good thing it's a buffet.

According to the owner, Maya has been in business for over 2 years. The Delhi Chat was fresh and tasty. Tandoori chicken (marinated in yogurt with spinach/mint) was tough while stuffed paneer was almost too creamy with mild test. Maya has an interesting concept: where...they provide 8 different styles of Indian cultural cooking base with a choice of protein. I did not select this option as I wanted to try freshly prepared food. Service was pleasant but a tad slow. Maya can succeed provided they provide individually prepared dishes and suggest they use organic chicken and shift away from cookie cutter offering!More

We eat so you don’t have to. We review it with a needlessly complicated scoring system. Bam! Another great lunch buffet at Maya... greeted warmly at the door offered Naan..we chose Garlic (the Best!). Buffet delicious as always. For those who wish a vegetarian fare this is the place! Chicken dishes are also done well. Side dishes of raita and chutney are...welcome. We'll be back.More

My brother in law came from India, but never cooked Indian food for me. I thought it would be an interesting experience to visit a Restaurant that serves real Indian food. I chose the Maya Indian Bar and Grill on Tuttle Street in Wakefield, MA...and found it to be an excellent choice. I had their luncheon buffet twice now and each time it gave me a wonderful opportunity to sample some of the different Indian dishes (each time the buffet offered different choices--some are vegetarian, some are chicken, lamb and goat). They offered appetizers, salads and desserts as well as additional side condiments and naan bread. The food was absolutely delectable, full of flavor with a wide range of Indian spices to please any foodies tastes. None of the dishes I tried were too hot or spicy for my tastes and the salads they served were each unique and yummy. And everything was super fresh. The restaurant was shiny clean and the atmosphere was busy, but at the same time relaxing with soft Indian music playing in the background. The staff was very accommodating and friendly--making sure that each client/guest was happy and satisfied. It was a totally excellent experience and I shall definitely be going back really soon. The value for the amount of food consumed was very good. I did not save room for any dessert, but there will be another time I am sure.More

Maya is a tasty alternative in Wakefield as there seems to be a sea of Italian restaurants. We have come to Maya many times and have enjoyed many of their dishes! Gobu Manchurian ( fried cauliflower florets) one of my faborites starters and lamb chops...peshawari is my “go to” but we like to try something new off the menu each time we go. If your lucky they will have the mango cheesecake for desert! I would also recommend a refreshing kucumber fir one of their hand crafted cocktails.....More
