I called to see if we needed a reservation; were told no they didn't accept them. Was told there was no wait; we showed up less than 5 minutes later and told there was a 15 minute wait, we asked for outside seating. After about...20 minutes our table was ready; and we were headed inside - there was no outside dining available. Our drink order was placed and received rather quickly; our food on the other hand took almost forty-five minutes. While we were waiting more and more guests were being seated - didn't see much social distancing. There was also a group of 12-14 people. We were also charged a convenience charge of $2.66 for the restaurant to recoup some of the money they have lost during Covid and PPE.More

Decided to pop across the street post mini golf for dinner. They have a tent and installed sunshades on the back side to block the sun. The tables are really nice - they are actually the ones from the inside of restaurant. So nice leather...chairs and sturdy tables. They were a little frazzled when we arrived, but we were seated quickly enough. Started out a little slow. Drinks took a little while to get, and we went through all the salsa (which was never refilled). Printed menu is nearly impossible to read and we weren't really sure when we pulled it up on the phone if the menu was limited or not. Luckily everything we all picked was available. After ordering, appetizer and meals came at a normal pace. I was told the ceviche was amazing - came in margarita glass so it was a good amount. Arroz con pollo, al pastor tacos, and chimi's were all devoured and empty plates were returned. The chicken spinach enchiladas were good, but required a box. Prices were reasonable and the check was around what we expected for everything we ordered. Plenty of parking for when normal times return and there appears to potentially be outside seating around the patio of the building normally (but cannot confirm).More

I have been disappointed by them time and time again. Every time I order I am either missing half of my order or I recieve a different meal than I requested/paid for. EVERY SINGLE TIME! So tired of being disappointed by them. There are numerous...other restaurants that actually give you what you order and ALL that you pay for...More

Outstanding tableside Guac and terrific salsa, better than anything I had on last trip in Mexico. All the food is fresh, and service is tops. Staff members speak Spanish, and Philippe, who prepared my Guac, even sang along with the Mexican music. So the place...has a genuine Mexican vibe. Both dining room and bar are perfectly lit and very comfortable. Will definitely be a regular and recommend to my network!More

My sister, niece and I were up for an impromptu late lunch last Saturday and decided to visit La Santa. The niece had received a discount coupon in the mail (we didn’t end up saving anything because our food bill, excluding booze, didn’t exceed the...requisite amount of $60), and after reading a few good online reviews, we decided we were all up for a good Mexican meal. Upon entering, we appreciated the funky Dia de los Muertos theme of this restaurant. I also very much liked the piped in traditional folk music, which was not too loud and intrusive to our conversation. Seating includes both comfortably padded booths at the sides and tables in the center of the spacious dining room. We carefully perused the extensive menu while our very helpful and friendly server, Felipe, fetched our bevies (two house Margaritas and a “Jamaica” agua fresca). My two companions’ Margaritas were very good (and strong), served in atypical Mason jar glasses, and garnished with lovely fresh flowers (orchids?)---nice touch! My agua fresca was interesting, if not a bit murky in appearance (Felipe claimed he himself mixed the fruity concoction earlier that day). It was okay, but not really thirst quenching. There was no iced tea or coffee on the menu, and since I don’t drink alcohol, it was an agua fresca or soda, that’s it. While we waited for our entrées, a generous basket of warm, freshly-fried tortilla chips arrived, accompanied by some of the best restaurant salsa we’ve had in quite some time. The salsa had a nice consistency and was not at all watery, as is the case in most Mexican establishments we’ve visited, and it had a good amount of heat---delicious! The salsa was gladly refilled by Felipe upon our request, along with more freshly-fried chips. For entrees, my niece had seafood quesadillas (Del Mar), and my sister got chicken burritos. After not seeing “Chiles en Nogada” (one of my favorite Mexican dishes) on the menu and asking Felipe if perhaps I had just missed it (sadly, not the case), I chose to have the shredded beef Chimichangas. My sister and niece were quite happy with their meals, as was I, except for the beef filling in mine being a tad chewy. The cheese sauce on all of our dishes, however, was excellent. Our meal, including drinks, tax and tip came to $93.00. All in all, our visit to La Santa was quite pleasant and we would gladly come again when in the area (we’re from Worcester). My niece lives in Chelmsford and will be back, for sure, with her hubby in tow.More

We frequented this restaurant when it opened. But along the time, it seemed like the service got pretty bad. We went our with relatives to have a good time and since we wanted to eat Mexican food. My husband took some time to decide the...order and the server showed a lot of attitude. He did not come back to take to take the order until we informed the manager. We felt the server was irked by request made by my relative to substitute corn with flour tortillas. We asked for extra salsa and chips that also did not come until we complained to the manager. This is not the first time we have experienced such sloppy service or the server being indifferent here in this location. Just serving good food does not attract customers, there is something that we look forward to what is called a good dining experience. Unfortunately this has happened twice, I am not going back.More

Three of us had after work drinks and dinners. We skipped appetizers and the guac cart, sticking to margaritas and beer. Drink menu has prices! You can upgrade your tequila from a lengthy list and the upgrade cost is clear - no surprises! Our entrees...were very good, sauces were delicious. We skipped deserts too. Only downside on the evening was a bench seat that was broken so half of one bench was unusable, but we didn't need it. We also liked the system of posting a card when service is wanted, so no hovering waiter when you don't want, and fairly quick service when you post the card.More

Had a great time with our Friday night foursome. The waiter was excellent, very attentive and prompt, and the food was also excellent. They have devised a way of alerting the wait staff when you need something but Felipe was so good we didnt need...to use the red card. We have added this to our rota of Friday night restaurantsMore

Asked for a seating at high top in bar area was told "No"; ask again as I thought there was a language problem, but was told an emphatic "No".
