As a family we have been coming to Anthony's for 13 years (I am in Chicago dad and family live in lynn). Anthony's lobster is our staple - fresh and classically prepared and dependably above board. We have just left tonight's dinner there. The server was great but she was disadvantaged by rhe dysfunction of management and bus staff. I... More

Always enjoy a nice lobster dinner with great pop overs. The location is superb with great view of Boston skyline. Sit outside of the weather is nice.

Anthony's Pier 4.... great food and service, amazing popovers served hot and delicious. Fresh seafood. Indoor and outdoor dining, great views right on the water, sailboats, look across to Boston... so beautiful. Our server was Samantha, and she was great, very attentive. We had the fried seafood platter and the clambake with delicious steamers, mussels, large shrimp, lobster and chourico.... More

Had dinner there recently and was somewhat disappointed. The chowders were tasty, the entrees disappointing. One of the dinner companions had the mussels which were salty and dry. He thought that they had been cooked in advance and reheated. I had the scallops which were totally unexceptional. I also ordered the creamed spinach which I remembered as being my favourite... I am originally from a suburb of Boston who now lives in Ohio. Travel to Boston as often as possible to see family. When I am there I must have baked stuffed shrimp Boston style. Last time I was there went to Anthony's in Swampscott, after not being there for quite some time. The stuffed shrimp, my favorite dish, was... More

Enjoyable, quiet restaurant with very good food. Wish we lived closer to be able to visit again. Portions are generous and come with rice or potato. The Popovers were so delicious and a very nice touch.

This used to be an outstanding "fancy" restaurant on the North Shore . This restaurant looks terrible, now. The ceiling is soiled and water stained. The wallpaper is coming off the wall in the ladies' room. The location and views of the ocean are outstanding. They have their own free parking lot with attendants. The food and drinks are still... Was greeted at the door. Our table was water view. You could see Downtown Boston from our table. Our server suggested their Popover which I initially turned down but she talked me into trying it. It was so tastey. You must try it too. Great Clam Chowder, Clams Anthony and great apple pie. Service was very good. We would go... More
