Have been going there few times a year every year. Lobster tataki app is a MUST. Highly recommended for sushi. In compare, slightly behind Yamazakura in North Borough.

We have been there many times over the years. It has always been reliable. Enjoyed a meal for 8 and for date nights. Nice ambiance and many sections for privacy. Sushi rolls have sweet potatoes - nice touch.
Great place for sushi in the western burbs. Always consistent and fresh. Great lunch specials. You can't go wrong with Fugakyu.
My family ate here on Mother's Day, and it was busy as one might expect on the holiday. But our waiter still gave us good service. We shared delicious Cherry Blossom Maki, rice rolls with avocado wrapped in salmon, as an appetizer, along with a bottle of sake. All of our meals were served with a tasty miso soup. My... More
This is hands-down the best sushi restaurant in all of MetroWest and dare I say in all of Massachusetts except for Boston. The food is excellent, the portions are healthy and although the prices are a bit high, they are easily justified by the taste of the food. It is a small restaurant so either go early or expect to... Not the best sushi, but not the worst. Their bento boxes deliver, and their soups are enough for a family to eat! Seriously - its a huge, comforting and flavorful bowl of wonderful. The place is even larger than you think. Its pricy. But you will not be disappointend.
My boyfriend and I come here on occasion and love this sushi place. Very fresh and the service is excellent. Our favorite's are the Caterpillar Roll and the Udon noodles are fantastic. It's quiet and the lighting is dim for a nice relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of parking and they have TVs to watch whatever game is on.
Being a novice eating Japanese food I was at a loss of what to order; a co-worker was having sashimi and others all suggested Bento dishes and some had noodles. Win-win-win. All were very pleased with their selection; I went all in and had the sashimi assortment and loved it. Fresh, well presented and delicious. Our party was large and... More
I first became acquainted with Fugakyu at its Brookline location. I was obsessed with it for a while. Loved the private Japanese booths and the food and drinks were always great. On the expensive side. The same applies for Fugakyu in this Sudbury location. The Sudbury location is a little more casual and has a little less attitude but food... More
We love Fugakyu -- it is our "go-to" sushi place. The fish has always been fresh (going here for 10 years), and the sashimi pieces are sizable.
