The Inn is very quaint. We had a nice table near the window and the waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. My partner and I added the $9 to our meal - that is in addition to the reasonable priced entrée. With the $9 you pick two of the following: salad, soup, dessert. My partner had a... More

Came here for dinner as we had a buy one get one main course free coupon. The food was nothing fancy, but very nice home cooking indeed, with generous portions and nicely presented. The gluten-free menu is extensive and made it easy for my wife to select items. Restaurant was a little over-chilled, but pleasant environment nonetheless. Without coupon the... More

Having been to the Publick House before and having had the lobster pie I wanted to return with the wife and family. They were great with the kids setting them up right away with crayons a coloring menu and boosters without us asking. Charles was our waiter and he was fantastic. The lobster pot pie was just as I remember... More

Service was good, food was delicious. The portion size was large, could have fed two and it was a special of the day.

I went here today with a friend, having told her about the fabulous French onion soup. Really some of the best I've ever had. Guess what? They don't offer it anymore. Had a salad which was good but the service was not. I asked our waiter for a refill on the water after having trying a good 10 minutes to... More

The restaurant is located in the old inn, there are several dining rooms. The one where we had our lunch was much the same as it was hundreds of years ago, including a beautiful, huge fireplace which, no doubt, had once been used for preparing meals. The service was excellent as was the food. One of the things I love... More

A place out of history! The turkey dinners were as good as Thanksgiving. Our waitress was so polite and so accommodating. This is a must go to. Enjoy and don't forget to stop in the bakery🤓

Good food at reasonable prices. Service was attentive. Menu somewhat limited but something for everyone. Very nice decor in old inn.

Some places age gracefully and this is one of the best. Great food & service, reasonable prices and a setting to die for are work the trip to Sturbridge. You won't be disappointed.

This was just so pretty and so historic, which I love. We ate in the downstairs restaurant and it just had so much character. I went with my two children, and we all enjoyed our food. I had the turkey, as they said that is one of their specialties and it was really good. The service was delightful and I... More
