Couldn't get in other restaurants so settled on Pub as a last resort. We would have gone to Red Lion Dining Room but didn't want to spend a fortune. Atmosphere is a dark underground pub which is ok, very casual. We just had sandwiches which...More

Visited three evenings and dined here on two occasions, both times food was exactly what we wanted. Turkey sandwich great, chicken pot pie also. Good live music all three nights with no cover charge, great beer and friendly bar staff. Really helped us enjoy our...More

The pub itself is really quaint. The French Onion soup was good- I should have stopped there. The menu is somewhat limited- just a handful of salads and paninis, along with a special. I really disliked my ham and cheese panini- the bread was super...More

We stopped in here for lunch on a Sat, it was quiet and we were quickly given our drinks. We wanted something light so we ordered the grilled ham and cheese, and the BLT panini. We ended up splitting with each other, and both were...More

Our first night in the Berkshires we had dinner on the outside patio. The food was great! I had the fish and chips which was more than I could finish and my husband had the hand-carved turkey sandwich which was huge, and he enjoyed every...More

Thank you for your comments! The Red Lion Inn is a great place to enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars while visiting our Courtyard. The fish and chips is one of our most requested items, second only to the hand carved turkey sandwich with...More

We went for dinner one night and decided to try the pub instead of the dining room. The barbecue'd chicken was actually a boiled half chicken with sauce covering it. The staff was apologetic but this place could use a new chef.

We stayed overnight in Lee and came across the pub by accident. As soon as we entered, we were treated to live jazz music. The waitress was prompt and courteous. We ordered the portobello panini. It was delicious and served very quickly. We had an...More

Went to the Berkshires to visit museums and to see plays in the area. Our first play was in Stockbridge that evening so needed to have a rather quick dinner first. There was a wait for two other dining areas of the Inn but was...More

The Lion's Den pub, located downstairs at The Red Lion Inn, offers entertainment seven nights a week, and never a cover charge. There's different entertainment each night, with regular appearances by local performers including David Grover, the Sun Mountain Fiddler, and the Housatonic Philharmonic, offering everything from acoustic folk to R&B, and reggae to the blues. Some nationally recognized performers have been known to grace our humble pub stage from time to time - James Taylor, Lauren Ambrose and Roger Salloom among them.On chilly nights ask for a table by the fireplace and enjoy a genuine pint of ale or stout, a glass of your favorite wine, or a mug of hot mulled cider - all accompanied by our classic pub fare. The Lion's Den is open (until 1 a.m. on weekends), with entertainment from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday and entertainment from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. House guests can access the Lion's Den through the Tavern, or by entering beneath the red awning on Main Street.
