Eight months on since my last review and the nasty virus is still wreaking havoc on our normal lives. Dining with my wife and/or with friends is still one of the most precious joys in life. We have all had to make some adjustments. Right...now, and through the winter, most of us are doing a lot more takeout than ever before. When it comes from a place as reliable as Tucker's it is a good consolation prize. We have ventured into the dining room a few times, but the takeout will probably be the main route for some time to come. Fortunately, they have a wide and changing menu, and being fifteen minutes as the crow flies, it is still hot when we get home. With excellent ingredients, a gracious staff and consistently fine menus, they have brought us much joy. While we often savor more creative cooking, Tucker's knows their market. They are a cut above without being pretentious. The soups and vegetables are always a delight and the price point is very fair.More

Restaurants are one of the hardest hit businesses in the current crisis. Tucker's has started a takeout menu keeping their lights on and giving us some appealing choices when we need to be mostly at home. With considerable catering experience, they have a leg up...on switching from dining room to the takeout format. Two nights ago we had splendid Broiled Salmon with delicious rice and a carrot and cabbage salad. It was ready at the time requested and the price very fair for the quality of cooking and the quantity. Restaurants are losing out on the high margin bar trade and their waitstaff is likely furloughed. At least they can keep the kitchen crew employed and pay the rent. We miss the ambiance of the dining room and the sincere and caring wait staff. Let's help them through this tough time and still enjoy what they do so well.More

Tucker's was recommended to me for Thanksgiving sides, my husband and I decided to visit on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, we had a delicious lunch before placing an order for some Thanksgiving sides to pick up mid-week. The fish and chips were delicious and the...portion was perfect. The fish was so fresh, the batter light and not at all greasy. The fries were also perfect and the coleslaw was so tasty. I had Chardonnay and he had a Bloody Mary and we enjoyed everything very much. You should dine at Tuckers, it was a great find for us. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.More

We had a wonderful time and dinner was excellent. The wait staff were very friendly and anticipated our every need. The waitress picked up on the birthday and brought a desert with a candle.

I loved Tucker’s from the moment I walked in! The bar is small, but very welcoming. Jessica was serving that evening, and was friendly, attentive, and makes a mean dirty martini! I ordered a cheeseburger grinder with steak fries. It was cooked to perfection! The...fries were very hearty. All entrees come with a soup or salad. I chose a salad with peppercorn ranch, which was really tasty! For dessert I had the Fudge Cake Ball, a New England treat that I hadn’t had in years! It was just as I remembered and I would highly recommend it! I had the pleasure of meeting Karen, one of the owners, who graciously took a picture of me with my nieces. I will definitely return on future trips to Western Mass.!More

My friend and I usually lunch here at least once a month. I love the atmosphere and the music which lends itself to fine dinning. However, lately the meals have been hit or miss. After experiencing my third lousy lunch here, I felt it was...time to write a review. I usually do not write negative reviews and excuse a restaurant for making a mistake once in awhile. Yesterday's lunch pushed me over the top. My hot vegetables were so hard they were inedible. So we're my friends. The baked cod lunch portion was so small, I would classify it as appetizer portion. I ordered french fries, because I ve had at least three experiences with their steak fries or mashed potatoes which was unpleasant and tasted like old reheated leftovers. Once I ordered a special which was terrible. I no longer order specials. My meal's here lately have been very disappointing. I was given 1.84 off my meal yesterday because if the vegetables and fish. Really? I won't be going back here because the quality has continually gone down hill. Such a shame since it's such a lovely place.More

My family had our Thanksgiving dinner at Tucker’s for the second year in a row. My wife and I have also dined at Tucker’s restaurant apart from the holidays, when visiting family in this part of the state. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful, and...the food & beverage and service are always outstanding.More

We and some friends were out leaf peeping recently and stopped by here for lunch. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We would go back again if we are out that way.

We went to Tucker’s as a party of four. The seafood was very good, but the amount of meat in the Pot Roast dinner was skimpy at best. So, So.....

I have never had a bad meal here. The selections are unique and delicious. We once had a so so server but she cam around at the end and was a delight. Probably, stressed from the busy crowd. This is the place to go if...you would like a special atmosphere but equally a great place to go when you want something and somewhere that is not a pizza restaurant.More

I've seen kids dining in there when I've been. It's a little upscale, so the food may not be for them.
