My husband and I had breakface two times while visiting the area 9/2016. Looks like an old, quaint diner. Lots of automobile memorabilia. Place is small, wait staff is friendly and food was speedily delivered and very good! Lots of daily specials posted on the chalkboards. Check it out!

The food was honestly nothing spectacular. It was ok, we were full. Our waitress was fantastic. The host was also very pleasant. They seat you fast even when there is a wait.

Interesting and eclectic decor, excellent service, good coffee, and great food - what more could you want? The breakfast choices looked interesting, and I was tempted by the lemon poppy seed pancakes, but decided it was time for lunch. My grilled cheese sandwich was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of cheese, and a slice of ripe tomato. Just... More

While at the Cape this past week I visited once for lunch when I arrived & 4 mornings for breakfast. Always creative selections, superior service, reasonable pricing with a nostalgic atmosphere. A must for any Cape visit. The corn bread Benny was wonderful !

We were looking for a place to have breakfast without the long wait. The reviews on Trip Advisor were good, so we decided to try it. Breakfast was superb, great price and excellent service. We'll visit again.

Route 28 Diner doesn't have the tenure and reputation of most Cape establishments but the only reason is time. This is a nice place to stop for a quick bite ( mainly breakfast) and you'll enjoy your time spent here. The staff is very friendly and the food is prepared properly. Although I've only had breakfast here I know they... More

Little wait time - friendly staff. Turkey Avacado Egg Sandwich special was delicious as were the Sweet Potato Pancakes. Old school home fries were great. Reasonable prices. A soon to be a hidden secret of the Cape no more.

This place is awesome. America needs more diners like this. Small but great food, waitress was so much fun. Lots of cool chach to look at. Price was perfect! Just like making it at home. I'll go back ANY day.

Had breakfast here as the line was too long in the Keltic Kitchen. Service was quick. Coffee was good. Overall a good little diner with friendly staff and reasonable prices. I would come here again.
