First time here, but my daughter, who lives nearby, likes it very much. Kind of loud cause there is a big bar crowd here, but the noise seemed to die down a bit a little while after we sat down. The Foundry Burger was terrific..... Very juicy and flavorful. Lots of different beers and wine and not all that pricey... More

We were very impressed with the variety of the beers on the menu. We ordered two pizzetas, which are just flatbread style pizzas. We loved the BBQ brisket pizzeta. The bar staff was friendly as well.

We went here with my daughter during the first Parents' Weekend of her college career, and, four years later, on the eve of her graduation. Time flies. This is a good place, turning our decent food with a smile while being intensely busy. Would be fun to visit for drinks when it's not a peak weekend. Very nice waitstaff and... More

We went to dinner at the Foundry. As it was memorial day weekend the place was relatively empty but as always the food here is excellent. We ordered several appetizers and the French onion soup. My daughter had steak frites. Everything was exceptional. I can keep coming back here everyday. Great ambiance too.

We had a wonderful time here having Mother's Day brunch w extended family. The buffet made things easy. There was an incredible variety of things to eat, both savory and sweet. Take *small* portions so you can try lots of things -- my daughter, who thinks of herself as a "picky eater," tried new foods here! The waitress kindly provided... More

When you visit a gastropub, you expect extraordinary pub food. Unfortunately, the Foundry has adopted the label of gastropub but doesn't deliver the level of food you'd expect. The menu was uninspiring so I opted for the burger. The burger was okay but nothing special. Their parmasean truffle fries were a step above regular but only a step. At lunchtime... More

Visiting the Boston area in early April, we had dinner at this terrific restaurant, which is quite a bit larger than it appears when you first enter. The food was delicious and the service capable and unpressured. My husband and I stayed after our daughter left for another engagement and we relaxed with our coffees. We were not at all... More

Nice place, it is always crowded with 20 and 30 somethings. Expensive but trendy bar drinks and many many beers on tap. Noisy for conversation.

Love the interior, great drink list, excellent service and the small bit of the menu we sampled was well executed. I enjoyed my personal onion pizza with truffle oil. The husband grabbed the Onion Soup. Both cocktails were outstanding. We'll be back!

The feel of the place was amazing, it was definitely a good place to go and hang out for drinks. There was a wait for people looking to be seated at tables and not the bar. Everyone had a great time at the bar. It looks very cool and new drinks were tried. We look forward to giving Saloon a... More
